[@vide] - I'm only concerned about the nature of his powers creating a non-consent situations among players. Such as, "Strong willpower lessens the effect, but in time, it surrenders to its influence." So basically even within time, the player will have to react without consent of the situation. Since I want this to be a fun environment and not one filled with hostility (OOC anyways), I'm sort of worried about that in particular.
Oops, forgot to put something important, it's passive and it's not really used for anything. Actually, it just makes the person show what they want the most (or at least what they want at the moment) and I though having that will make for some interesting situations. Like if they've been with Mika for days or so, they suddenly blurt out what they think and feel about him (or someone around). Would it be better if I make it so that after their will got overcome, the power will need some time to affect them again? Sorta giving them an immunity for some time? Basically, it's a truth serum in aura form, really, now that I think about it. Edit: By making it based on how hungry for emotion/memory, it would lessen the instances of his passive power affecting others. Would that one work? Add that to the temporary immunity I mentioned above too.
[@Leotamer] Yeah, I've decided to forego those traits from my character and I was having a hard time simplifying it. And it's fine, I do think the Htrx will be able to be harmed by Alex's magic, they are still demons after all, though lacking the fundamental evil of the ancient demons. If Mika is fine to go, I'm sure we'll learn more about him and his kind and how they're created. I think knowing that will certainly give explanations why they're affected negatively by life magic. Also, it'll prove interesting if Alex would discover not all demon-like beings are bad and give suffering, sort of in a gray area instead. In any case, I'm just waiting for Mika to be balanced out and have no issues then I'll jump in.
