I highly doubt it. These are just basic minions. The Flood has virtually millions of them. We at least have an idea on what we should be doing. 

Right now, my characters/troops are going about three different agendas.

1). Samus is going to most likely destroy the core... but first saving a familiar friend in the process. Wink wink, [@Juicy].

2). Junior is gonna save his koopaling breathern. If any one of you guys want to encounter him on his way there, you are free to do so.

3). The Stormtroopers (And Im guessing Abigail) are going to get the Senator. Again, if anyone wants to encounter them on their way to the Ethreal, feel free to do so.
