Eli barely was paying attention after he let go of Chester and Rhi came back to the table. His focus on messaging back Tara at the moment, though he did catch Rhi’s mutter about a gun being shoved down Chester’s throat. He snickered a bit at the words glancing at Rhi from the corner of his eye and put his phone in his pocket again. Chester got up and he couldn't help but watch him closely as he left. He didn't want him touching Rhi again. Well now he felt a little bad that Kyp had to deal with this sack of human waste too. Eli looked up as Rhi apologized about Chester. She shouldn't have to apologize for him though. It wasn't her fault that the guy was….the way he was. He shook his head a bit. “Don't be, I'm sure I have a LOT of contacts that you wouldn't like either. At least he is giving you good information right?” Eli said before finishing off his first drink as he listened to Rhi talking on the phone. A small smirk on his lips when she talked about Chester being scared shitless. Eli gave a slight look and nodded a little bit. “Yeah, Tara texted me about the news and that she was going with them.” He didn't really know who Lu was, other than the fact he was one of her brothers. “I'm sorry for both you and his lost. I didn't know any of the hunters from that group.” Eli said his voice going a bit softer, honestly he had never really been the best at dealing with people who lost someone. Rhi was a friend though, so he was at least trying. The next words made him sigh a little his voice going from the slightly softer tone, back to his normal almost monotone tone. “Honestly, this whole weekend has been bad. This could have been worse, with there being three.” He said before taking a drink from his second drink she had brought him. “So at least there is that.” He muttered to himself. He wasn't mad at Rhi really, after all, could you really be mad at someone that bought him drinks after a weekend of hell? He understood why she didn't warn him, even if he did wish he knew ahead of time. “Which reminds me I tried out some new bullets if you want to try them for me. They're kind of dangerous though.” Eli had to think for a moment about Rhi’s question. It made sense to him that they would. Though, maybe that was because he was a human. “I know that witches and vampires both throw balls and have weddings from my parents. Other than that I don't know much other than werewolves don't usually.” He answered before giving her a slight look. “Though no matter what race we went after. A wedding would likely have a lot of them. Did the information say when or where it was happening?” He said, depending on how soon it was happening, they really did need to better prepare, their people needed to heal up, and they needed to make plans. There was a slight pause and he looked at his phone to see a list of names that needed to be sent to the infirmary tomorrow from Taylor. He knew the names from his recruits and a few of Rhi’s people. Show to Rhi. A few of hers rolled their eyes. I swear to….whatever, I will go to houses! He chuckled a bit at it before handing his phone to Rhi. “Fair warning, he will go to houses if they don't show up. He isn't joking.” He said before another message popped up. Also hi to Rhi. Eli glanced at the phone when she got the names and he finished his drink before sending another message to Taylor. He sighed looking at the glass. He could probably drink ten more of these, an probably when when he got home. He wasn't an alcoholic by any means but he drink more when he was stressed. Which weekends with your parents and coming home to a bomb blowing up the mall, tended to do. “You gonna go home after this? Taylor is picking me up and he has a pickup to take your motorcycle.” -- Tara smiled a little at Kyp’s words about being a hacker. She guessed that could be true, no one really did brag about things they weren't good at. “Do you think you could teach me some hacker stuff? I'm a pretty quick learner.” She asked, she really loved learning new skills, they gave her something to focus on and it usually didn't require trying to watch facial expressions to know how she should feel. “Like Eli had me throwing knives two weeks after he adopted me.” Kyp really wasn't lying though, Serg was very huge and she could see why some people could be intimidated by him. Though as soon as he started talking to him she realized he was someone she liked from her building. “I only knew your last name.” She said with a small chuckle. She paused for a long moment when he talked about the recruits that had gotten sick over the dead bodies. Her first thought was that they shouldn't be hunting if they were babies with weak stomachs. That wasn't the right thing to say though, she reminded herself. “Oh that's too bad, hopefully they will be able to get use to it.” Tara couldn't help the small frown at the exchange of looks between the two men when she offered to help. If they knew her better they might have known that this, what happened tonight, had literally no effect on her, like whatsoever. When Kyp started to say they didn't need she sighed a bit, before Serg said that she could come. She smiled a little bit before nodding. “Okay that sounds good to me.” She said before watching Serg walk away. “I like him.” Tara said looking at Kyp, then he said he had to go and to meet them in the parking lot.”Alright.” She answered with a small laugh and wave before heading off to talk to Taylor. He wasn't that hard to find, finishing up with a hunter that looked pretty banged up. He looked up as she said his name, before sighing a little though it wasn't as much at Tara as the amount of hurt. “What's up Tara? I'm a little busy.” “I was told to tell you I'm going to help with a group that was killed outside the mall.” She said, her voice a little hushed so the others couldn't hear her. She got a look though and she rolled her eyes speaking before he had a chance to speak. “It's with Rhi’s guys. Kyp and Serg.” Taylor relaxed a little bit, he hadn't met Kyp before tonight but he had met Serg. Both working on Eli and setting his space in the new place. “Alright, make sure to message Eli when you get home and be carefully.” “Yes momma Taylor.” She said smirking at the eye roll it got before heading out to the parking lot. The guys caught up to her as she was leaving and she looked at Serg. “I mean I know where it is but I'll just follow you guys. Okay?” She answered. As she got in Eli’s car she adjusted the seat and and messed with the music and she waited for them to start their car up. The drive to the Cathedral wasn't really that far from the mall and she was a little glad that she followed them because she usually didn't take the route that they did. Turning the music down as they got came to a stop, she grabbed her bag as she got out of the car. Kyp and Serg was already making their way towards some guy that she didn't know. Though she saw someone she realized, a tall muscular blonde guy that Tali had introduced them to, he was shifter hunter from Chicago that wanted to move closer to his family. What was his name again? “Jeffrey?” Tara said as she got a little closer to him. His eyes snapped to her, and he gave a barely there sad smile. She gave her best comforting smile as she to him. Tara couldn't see all the bodies but she could see a younger guy with his throat cut and one was burnt pretty badly. Though Jeffrey’s eyes were trained on the one who was farthest in. Gently she took his arm and lead him away from where he could sit and sat him down. “Are you the one that found them?” His head dropped slightly as he nodded. “Can you tell me how?”
