[color=lightblue]You wake up strapped to the seat of a moving vehicle. You are restrained in handcuffs and have a visor over your head and face blocking your vision. There are at least two other bodies sitting with you.

- A flash of light occurs from from the inside of your visor - and a video begins to play.

"Welcome new recruits." A smiling black man in a blue military jumpsuit beams at the camera. "Each one of you has been selected to join 'The Defiance Program' because we believe you have the skills that it takes to help save this world. When you arrive at the base my one of my assistants will get you initiated. Welcome to the team, recruit."

The visor clicks and falls to the ground allowing you to finally see your surroundings, not that there's much to be seen. You are clearly on the inside of an APC (Armored Personnel Carrier) with some others you have not met before. They seem to be just as confused with you.

Finally the vehicle comes to a stop, the restraints click off and the wide door at the back opens. Welcome to the team, recruit. [/color]

"The Defiance Project" is a military/superhero team based underneath the Streets of New York, New York. 

You will be playing as the latter, superheroes. Be you a speedster, powerless vigilante or hulking brute is your choice. I'm pretty relaxed about who you play as long as they're somewhat good aligned and not god incarnate. (By which I mean no reality altering/kill auras ect.)

Rules? Well here you go:

2. Don't kill each other. You're team-mates, not enemies
3. Try and post at least once a week

Name: Every hero needs a secret identity! Of course, TDP will make sure your departure from everyday life goes ((mostly)) un-noticed.

Super Name: What's more important than your name? Your fake name of course! Strike fear into the hearts of your enemies, instill hope into those of your friends. It's all about branding, man.

Appearance: What do you look like? Do you even look like?! Are you a gaudy Lycra wearer or a power armour bearing behemoth? [i]Feel free to post a picture if you have one.[/i]

Powers/Skills: Whether you're a master of karate or a damn fine shot with your laser vision. Here's the place to say it.

Equipment: Guns, swords, cars. Anything that you like to take with you goes here.

Weaknesses: You gotta have something here. Every Superman needs a kryptonite and every Batman needs a person who just so happens to have a mother called Martha. I promise not to abuse it ((too)) much.

Origin Story: Mutants, Geniuses, Unfortunate experiments. Everyone has a story so why not share it! Be as in-depth or short as you want.    [/hider]
