Lowkey feel called out on overusing em dash and incorrectly, bad me (I also forgot that semicolons existed until seeing someone here use one). I'm trying to improve my writing muscles. It's been a long time before joining here since I wrote so much as two paragraphs on the same topic, not lying. [@DruSM157] I can relate and wish to send a digital hug. Self-loathing can prevent me from jumping in right away, which in turn produces more self-loathing in the vein of: "Well now I'm being waited on." And when I finally do post: "This is kinda garbage." But I'm trying to convince myself it's better to jump in with some thought than wait to write the same post I would've written anyway. Can't improve without practice, so saying I'll improve if I wait on it is a lie.
