[@DeadbeatWalking][@duthguy][@rocketrobie2][@CollectorofMyst] I did forget to do one EXTREMELY important thing last night and that was the Hold Back the Darkness roll at the start of the turn, before the Void Hound moves. Since no one is the Lanternbearer for this mission, anyone may reroll the test if it fails. You need to get 9+ to break the assault. Then you have to clean up the stragglers. Bear in mind - if you succeed at Breaking the Assault, no new monsters can spawn, including those waiting off map (so the Night Terror, Hell Bats, Slasher, Tentacles and Void Spiders) but you do have to clear up the ones on the board. They'll start behaving normally aka running round and attacking you. Currently, Jamie has one determination and Father C has a determination, and so does Hawkeye Harold. But he probably wants to save his because he's seen flashes of his future involving alot of blood. This is probably your best chance to win the mission and get delicious, delicious loot. ... ... Thinking about it I should of wrote this post after I rolled. oh well. I've written it now so I'm leaving all this in for dramatic effct ;D
The Assault is Broken
New Objective: Clean up the remaining Monsters (and don't die doing it, preferably) You blink as the horrific vision clears your mind. Unless your Deputy Hawkeye, he still gets bitten by a dog from the Void. [@DeadBeatWalking] The Void Hound lashes out at Hawkeye Harold and strikes 5 times. He dodges once, but takes 8 Damage! Spend a determination to reroll ect.? Pending Void Spiders...%
