what are the relations between the dark elves and dwarfs of Penault like? I am considering doing a Drow based halfing between the two races, or possibly a gnome-ark elves half-ling if traders wandering though there is ever thing. 

basic idea for her is her village think she might be a changeling, because of her appearance, when she is in-fact a bastard child. Then when she grows up (or rather, fails to) this suspicions seem to be confirmed. She runs away/is exiled and winded up in a pact with a fay lord (through creative interpretation of her words binding her to his service unintentionally) after she goes to beg him to return her parents actual child. Learning the truth from him she goes on a quest to find her real father only to be contently sidetracked by the whims of her new lord.
