Bio: There are no records in the Imperial database about Kal before enrolling in the Academy.  As a young cadet, his teachers nearly failed him, because of his constant disobedience of Imperial doctrines and protocol in battle simulations.  He believed that they were faulty and should be modified to be more efficient, while his instructors believed that a cadet shouldn't modify tried and true doctrines.  Once out of the academy Kal was stationed on the Chimaera, the flagship of Grand Admiral Thrawn.  The Admiral saw potential in the young man and taught him how to analyze and predict his enemies movements.  Kal rose quickly through the ranks.  He has just been given charge of Sullust with orders to finish the rebels off.
