While the Arch-Magi had some possible clues, they were more or less uncertainties without any grounding evidence nor appraise. What was known for sure however was that the affliction started by aborting a segment of his mana-well to free himself from a binding oath fabricated by the catholic arcanocracy. With the case in mind, it seemed likely that reversing the process was the only way to null this mana-driven anomaly. But what in entailed was quite literally acquiring the Holy Grail; a task Travis quickly predicted and probably agreed upon as insane if not suicidal.
