Anna was getting a little nervous and agitated. The elevator was taking so long to come up to the floor and she didn't like being in the hallways of the apartment building. Too many neighbors. She had been lucky enough to avoid most of them in these past few months and those who had seen her had said nothing to her. She shifted her weight from one side to the other and in fixing the strap of her backpack suddenly couldn't remember if she had placed her essay for her college language arts class in her back pack or not. Turning slightly without taking her backpack fully off, she unzipped it and began rummaging through her and just as she sighed in relief, pulling the essay out to make sure all the pages were there, when the doors to the elevator opened and out walked a group of boys around her age. Moving to the side to let them by, she slipped to the side, only to lose grip of the papers in her hand, dropping them on the floor, an embarrassed look on her face. She took a deep breath and nervously bent down to pick up her papers, looking up at one of the boys who had stayed behind. Once she had all the papers in hand, she put them in order and in a neat stack, placing them in to her backpack just as he spoke to her. Was it just her, or did he look her up and down? She was a bit confused and all the more nervous at this. She averted her gaze for a moment before looking back at him with her bright blue eyes, speaking so quiet it was almost a whisper, "A-Anna. I live in room 506." Looking down at her wide, her eyes widened slightly to see she was already running late. She said a soft excuse me and moved around him, shyly getting into the elevator, brushing a stray strand of blond hair from her face as she did. She glanced over at him for a moment, studying his his handsome face, not even realizing she was staring at him until his eyes met hers for a split second, making her quickly avert her gaze once ore and press the button to go tot he first floor.
