Unusually long-lived for his kind, Orion's temperament was becoming even more gentle as he watched over his great-grandchildren.

However, when a group of bandits appeared near his home village, he decided to develop martial arts so that the villagers would be able to protect themselves. Although his original techniques were sufficient to deal with the ruffians, Orion set off on a journey in order to improve them.
