Maria's head turned hearing the loud crash coming form the foyer of the mansion, Her mouth wide open form the sight of the mayor crushed under the large chandelier. Quickly moving towards two of them looking over at Nephele, "Nephele..." She said to her friend her eyes looking lost like a child. Her hand placed on the mayor's neck checking his pulse suddenly putting her hand away, She now looked scared like when she first met the phantom. 

Thinking back to when she first met the phantom, Thinking back to what she said about a tragedy in the "play". Standing up form where she was covering her mouth with her hand. "I am..so sorry.." She said softly to Christine feeling great sorrow for the girl. Looking around keeping her had on her rapier wondering when the phantom would strike them.
