Koren
The man apparently named Stryker called himself the captain of the ship that they were going to board. Thankfully, he spoke more sense than the other dark-haired man that Koren considered as quite daft. Stryker explained an overview of their situation to them and he nodded when he finished, finally understanding a bit more of what I expected of him. “I suppose legally dying twice should make me immortal now,” he said flatly with a shrug as he followed his supposed captain into their ship after they were finally allowed to retrieve their personals again. The ship itself wasn’t anything spectacular. It was some standard Alliance frigate. Quite old and some of its original parts weren’t there anymore likely due to its age but it seemed to have seen some battles, at least as far as he’s seen. But the ship excited the Juz’ all-the-same. Being in another ship made him feel comfortable and he would rather a frigate than the other smaller ones that he had been in. Hopefully he was allowed to tinker about it to learn about it and its components. “Ok, first things first,” Stryker said, making the Juz’ turn his attention towards him instead of the ship that surrounded them. “I guess a tour is in order, right over here by the crates,” the captain said again as he led them towards an oddly specific spot. Koren was hesitant to follow. But considering that he’s in death row anyway, might as well. “Sorry about the phone thing man, had to keep up appearances for the jarheads,” the man would explain before saying that leading them on this specific spot was necessary for their own safety and privacy. Then he would turn to Koren who was just unlocking his helmet, releasing it from his head with a hiss as the compressed air inside escaped between the gaps. What greeted Stryker was the face of the Jus and his helmet hair, which he immediately fixed after placing down his helmet on one of the top of the containers nearby as his captain spoke to him. “So I guess the Alliance’s idea of a joke is not telling me that you were gonna be waiting there too, I don’t even have a name for you if we’re being honest.” “Koren,” the Juz’ responded after he finished tying his hair back up on a relatively neat bun. “My name is Koren,” he explained further as he looked at him unblinking. “This ship. You said that it’s not supposed to be here and that we are all legally dead. Will we be sent on missions where we are expected to die?” the Juz’ inquired in a curious yet casual manner. His face remained emotionless and unchanged, even as he blinked and directed his attention to the other man that he nearly shared an unfortunate hour with.
