[indent]At first glance, Christine appears to be cold and calculating, her expression always one that leads people to believe this. Her strong case of "resting bitch face" gives her a somewhat unfriendly air though she doesn't mind that it puts people off. Dark, thick locks of hair cascade down her back and curls around her youthful face. You'll usually see her with light brown hair, however, as she prefers to dye it. Her skin is the color of peanut butter, and speckling her nose are freckles that are a darker brown than her skin. She'll usually cover these freckles, as well as any other blemishes, with a thin layer of concealer and foundation. She has a prominent nose and full lips that always look poised to speak something important. But her most compelling feature is her piercing brown eyes that can change from affection to aversion without notice.  

Being a very beautiful young woman, Christine probably could have been a model if she were not so short; she stands at just five feet and three inches tall and weighs in at around one hundred-thirty five pounds. Christine carries herself elegantly with good posture, long confident strides, and her head held high. Due to this and her love of high heels, she often looks taller than she really is. Despite her height, she is quite long legged and relatively curvy. Her mother always told her that she inherited her wide hips and large bust from her grandmother. She is also very toned and athletic, spending a good portion of her time in the gym and jogging around campus in an effort to slim down a bit more.

When it comes to her fashion sense, Christine and always dresses to impress. Her style can best be lumped in with urban-chic or street wear fashion. She has a talent for putting an interesting twist on what she wears, mixing high-end and low-end effortlessly. She likes to look her best everyday, and usually spends an hour or two each morning making sure that there's nothing out of place. It's rare to see her in a state of disarray as she believes that she should always look prepared and presentable. As far as jewelry goes, Christine is always [i]blinged out.[/i] With her flashy necklaces, rings, and bracelets, she can make the most basic and minimalist outfits look like they belong in a fashion editorial.[/indent]

[indent]Despite her unfriendly appearance, Christine Benson is actually a genuinely friendly young woman. On the surface, Christine proves to be a very energetic and lively person. Despite her resting bitch face, when she's with her friends, she is rarely seen without a goofy grin on her face. She can be described as the bright ray of sunshine in a group, always trying her best to make others happy whether it be by giving them authentic compliments or cracking jokes. Many of her friends also describe her as adventurous and spontaneous; she's usually the one trying to get people to step out of their comfort zones and try something new. 

What most people don't realize, however, is how little they actually know about Christine. She has a tendency to be a bit "two-faced," and is great at socially accommodating when around different groups of people in an attempt to be liked by everyone. Some call it "fake," while Christine just calls it adapting. Christine does not like to talk about her own personal life, instead preferring to hear about the lives of everyone else. She cares a lot about her overall image and physical appearance. Being the health nut that she is, she enjoys spending a lot of her time working out and trying out healthy recipes. She is also a vegan, and can sometimes be a bit annoying when she tries to convince her friends to quit their meat-eating habits. 

Underneath all of the compliments and goofy smiles, however, lays a young woman who has a whole lot of insecurities that she desperately tries to keep covered up. From the freckles on the bridge of her nose to the wideness of her hips, Christine Benson is self-conscious. She often finds herself envying or detesting other women, even some of her [i]friends[/i], because they have things that she does not whether it be the perfect body or tight-knit family. She is also a bit of an instigator. Being the observant and manipulative young woman she is, she has become very good at hearing things that she probably shouldn't and spreading them around without drawing any attention to herself. Although this strange woman has yet to be identified, this isn't the first time we've heard reports of the wealthy, Latin business mogul being caught with women that aren't his wife, now is it? Seems as though the step father of none other than Christine Benson is having a little bit of trouble keeping his nose out of the press, and even more trouble keeping it in his pants. 

So who is this mysterious Christine Benson, you ask? Well, that's just what she is: a mystery! Not too many people seem to know much about one of Columbia's hottest freshman, but I've done my digging. According to my reputable sources, Christine's life has not always been the fairy tale that one would probably assume it to be. See, unlike a good portion of the Upper East Side student population, Christine was not born into money; her mother married into it, instead. The couple hit it off almost instantly, tying the knot after only six months of dating. Soon, eleven year old Christine found herself packing her bags and moving all the way to Manhattan to begin her new life. The mother and daughter moved from their shabby, old apartment in Highland Park, Detroit into Ricardo's luxurious, three-bedroom apartment in the Upper East Side, in which they have lived for the past few years. Talk about a Cinderella story!

Thanks to Ricardo, Christine was soon enrolled in a prestigious private school to continue her high school education. Though, my sources say it took a while for her to adjust to her new surroundings. Within the very first month of her being there, she'd already been reprimanded several times. She obviously got her act together by the end of her Senior year, however. The girl graduated in the top five percent of her class. With her high grade point average, long list of volunteer work, extra-curriculars, and a glowing recommendation from her well connected step-daddy, it came as a surprise to none when Christine was accepted into Columbia. 

The aspiring law student seems to be living the life, right? Wrong. Stemming from her step daddy's infidelity, it seems like there may be a little bit of trouble in paradise for the "close-knit" family of three. Anyone want to start the bidding on what happens next? Going once, going twice.
