It looks like I might be able to give it a try, I just didn't want to dissapoint. I'm in a position where I'm unsure of what will happen day to day. I'm working on a lot of projects, and usually I have enough free time, but ya never know.

So if you do decide to go ahead, please mention me. I'll make a character and participate. Especially since others I showed interest in never mentioned me again so I'm not sure if they went ahead or dropped it.
