Just before Myrtle was picked up she contacted her handler. He set up a drone to follow her to where ever the heck they were going. They was chatter about this organization but they never could find a way to get any information on it much less a person on the inside and they randomly picked Myrtle’s cover identity. Her handler didn’t know whether to not look the gift horse in the mouth or be super extremely suspicious about it. Once Myrtle was in the unmarked van the drone was following it. Myrtle was in the back of the van with a hood on, this made her suspicious but the couldn’t back out now the whole operation would be a failure. They drove fo what felt like hours and they were doubling back in at times she could hear noises that were unique to certain parts of the city multiple times. Eventually they stopped, she could tell it was due to traffic. They took the hood off her and moved her to another vehicle. She noticed they were under under the freeway. They put the hood on her again. She knew that as soon as traffic was moving again the drone pilot would follow the original vehicles not the new one. She just lost her backup. Contact was predicated on them being set up near by with sight lines to the windows where she could give a go or no go signal. She was alone and at their mercy. After Ajax’s speech Myrtle was really regretting volunteering for this mission. She felt stupid. She felt scared. She knew the only way out was to get through it until she could get access to some kind of communication’s device.
