There was a tinge of excitement mixed in with nervousness. She never had a situation where she had to demonstrate her supposed power nor had she ever thought of exploring it further excluding the small things she did in her past. Despite this, she slowly took her position on a free platform as the others had before her. Before she even did anything, her mind pondered as to how or rather, "what" exactly she was supposed to show off with. Considering the fact that she had never done anything large or fancy. This was the main reason she felt nervous, a possibility to feel somewhat inadequate. Nevertheless, she took the chance to try something simple yet acceptable. A water bubble or ball should probably be fine, granted she tried to form one not too small. Shutting her eyes, she calmed herself slowly before sitting herself down on a similar pose like the lotus position. But instead of sitting exactly like it, she put her legs simply on top of each other. Left one down first, then the right one on top of the left one. Lowering her right arm and hand down on her leg, she pointed the palm up naturally with her fingers open. The hard part would be to maintain the ball, she presumed before starting. Slowly but surely small streams of water started cascading above her palm to form said ball. Starting from the size of a mere finger tip, growing slowly into the size of a fist. As all of this was new to her, it was quite straining to say the least. She kept on growing the ball until it was about double to triple the size of a fist until her mind strained enough to make her stop and only focus on maintaining the form. It didn't last quite long either as she was forced to relinquish her grasp on it, making it dissolve and break on her hand. "8 seconds", she thought. It felt weak, yet it took all she could give just to maintain it. She did entertain the idea of perhaps trying a geyser style motion for a brief moment, but her mind was still trying to recover from the sudden strain on her. Having no choice really but to give in and rest, she looked upwards from where the light came from and sighed with a tinge of disappointment on her face.
// I don't know why I took so long. Rest assured, I do NOT feel good about it.
