Upon later interrogation - an arduous affair when speaking to the intellectually deficient abhuman - it was found that the Bone'ead had a rather unique form of insubordination. For most Ogryn who were folded into the Astra Militarum, the Chain of Command is an almost sacred military edifice, in which the will of the Emperor works its way down through the Officers of the Guard. For former Bone'ead Waldo, that whole fact was now in question. He'd been given contradictory orders by two officers. Which one served the Emperor? How could he tell? What if an order came from the enemy? Waldo was puzzled, and until he figured it out he wouldn't follow any other orders for fear of acting against the Emperor. Facing this sort of insubordination, the Commissars of the 43rd shipped Waldo off to a penal colony to be someone else's problem.
