If we consider, as a rule of thumb, that 40 is 'old' and 50 is 'venerable' then you can make an educated guess. Bear in mind that a Fire Caste soldier is trained to hold and shoot a weapon from a very early age...so the current ages, what we'd see as human teenage years, are probably quite reasonable.
