As far as she was concerned she had gotten enough favors as of late from people she didn't know. The most recent had someone snooping into her private life all because she was trying to help someone. She wasn't about to add to it. For all she knew she would end up having to give a DNA sample for this one. "Thanks but no. I'll take care of the rental when we get to the airport. Couldn't get a flight out today but have to head there anyways. Rental place is there. Not dare asking El Snoopy for a ride back on his jet," she said as she looked away and wrapped her arms around herself. It was more than obvious that the day was taking its toll on Natasha. Sure she wasn't currently in chemo but she was still recovering and that could take years. Yet the woman was trucking on. All those years pushing herself when she was an intern, the morning runs, the late nights. This was just another day. As far as Natasha was concerned you could sit in bed and feel like shit, dwell on it, and end up feeling worse or you could keep going and maybe, just maybe, take your mind off the pain for a few minutes here and there. Those little breaks when she didn't feel the last months of chemo weighing down on her more than made up for the shit storm rumbling through her mind right then. Hey, at least her rumbling was better than what Liams had been. At Cecilys words Natasha quirked a brow. It did sound like something was related. Granted submerging a body to destroy evidence wasn't exactly a marker. So many killers did it from what she had heard of back in India. Yet, the fact that all three were associated with MSS made her pause. "Sounds like someone is targeting MSS employees," Natasha quipped as she glanced back over to Cecily. More glad than ever that she had decided to pack her shit up and get the hell out of there. It was time to make a break for it. Liam was giggling away in the mean time. His little hands swiping this way and that, pushing the brown... yeah you know what it is... all over the floor, over himself. He really had a knack for the dirty arts. A Poo Prodigy one might say. I am sure Cynthia would have approved. She reached over and started to strap herself into the seat, looking over towards Roy's partner once more and gave her a friendly smile. Riley then turned her attention back over towards Roy when he asked what they wanted, and thought about what she was craving. "I'm either craving some pizza, Mexican food, or maybe some hot wings?" Riley asked. Priya let the Scooby Doo comments go on as she watched the two interact. Riley gave her a friendly smile, which she returned, but she still wasn't ok with her tagging along, especially if they were all going to go to the safe house together. Was Roy asking for Riley to be privy to the evidence? Priya was also sure this town wouldn't be able to do pizza justice like back in New York. "I could go for some hot wings." "And here I was going to suggest shawarma," Roy said as he back up out of the parking space and then drove towards the parking deck exit. He did't know if these girls would get the reference but he knew Cecily would have. He wondered if she was okay as he turned out onto the main road and started heading down the road. "I know a wings place that's on the way. We can hit there. How hot do you want them?" he asked as he pulled to a red light and stopped. Riley leaned back and itched her back for a moment looking over at Roy making a Shawrama reference. "Like the ending credit scene in the Avengers or something right?" Riley asked, remembering seeing it in theaters a few times though Cecily was more of the comic fan she sometimes did get the references from time to time. "I like mine really hot." Riley said, she always preferred her wings really spicy. Priya nodded her approval. "Spicy is preferred." She left it at that as she waited for Roy to get moving. She was growing restless by the second. Why Roy suggested Shawrama was beyond her. She liked Shawrama, but not for a quick bite to eat. She settled into the backseat and let her thoughts wander. "Yes! Exactly! Like the Avengers, just call me Ironman," Roy said grinning as the light finally changed and he continued down the road. Nodding as the girls said they wanted something spicy, he figured that would make ordering a lot easier. "So who wants what to drink then? And so you want sides or dips? Faster I can dart in and out the better." "Ironman is pretty badass." Riley said with a smile, as she looked over at Priya through the rearview mirror for a moment, she got the feeling that she either didn't trust her or just plain didn't like her. But she decided to remain quiet about it for now, her attention then turned back towards Roy asking for what kinds of drinks that they wanted. "Coke would be great and a side of fries with ranch sauce." Riley stated, that's what she always had every time that she and her friends or bandmates would always go out if they wanted to get wings she would always order that. Priya met Riley's eyes and let them linger. She didn't care if the girl felt her distrust or not. "Coke is good for me also." She didn't want a side or anything, she wasn't super hungry, but she did want something to eat before they dove into all of this. Priya looked at the evidence she gathered with her as they drove. Hopefully, the truth was in here. Or, at least, the right direction. Roy nodded and ended up heading towards the Deadlight District. It wasn't long until he was having to stop again. Apparently there had been some huge accident. The beat cop was directing traffic around the entire scene as people were trying to clean up the remains of one very dead man. "I am so fucking glad this isn't my district," he mumbled to himself as they drove slowly passed the carnage. Roy perking his brow as he spotted a cat just sitting there and licking blood stained paws. Riley's eyes wondered over towards the window as she watched the traffic getting busy again, seeing the accident that was there. She wasn't exactly sure what happened, as she watched people trying to clean up the mess she noticed that there was a cat there as well. It reminded her of her own cat when she was growing up, she was really fond of him when she got kicked out she never got to find out what happened to him. "I wonder what happened there." Riley asked before turning her attention towards Roy. "Know anyone who works on this district?" Priya looked over as well. Thankful she wasn't a traffic cop considering the damage she saw. Especially the cat with blood on it. That was just disturbing. "Looks bad." That was all she said as that was all that needed to be said. She felt sorry for those involved, but things seemed to be taken care of.

Mali Anson
Location: Spa Skills: N/A
The sound of the door opening is what managed to snap Mali out of her potential plans to wrangle Relic into doing something a normal teenager would do for once. Zoie's sudden (from her perspective) appearance was enough to make her heart skip a beat. Rather, for an instant her heart forgot what the hell it was supposed to be doing until it was slapped in the face and reminded that it pumped blood. "Oh. Hey. From the sound of things, they're treating me better than you, but I'm not allowed to move my face for twenty minutes." She could have said more, but decided against it. Zoie was in a phone call, and she didn't want to interrupt any important business, or worse be told that she'd need to shut her yap because the person on the other end had more important things to say than her. Zoie looked over at Mali and gave a nod. "That's good. Remember if you need or want anything, just ask," she said as she with a smile, her accent slipping away for the most part before giving another wave as she had when she first spotted Mali and heading out of the door. Dr. Johnson caught Zoie in the hallway before she get fully off. Seemed the two exchanged some words before Elizabeth came back into the room. "Came in with Mrs. Crawford?" she asked as she stepped back over to Mali and held out the water bottle for her. "Yeah, her treat even," Mali replied as she took the offered water bottle and fussed around with the cap for a bit. The thing didn't want to twist off, and it took a couple of tries and using her robe as a handle with better grip to get the piece of plastic to come off properly. The real challenge was keeping her face from scrunching up in exertion during the whole affair so the mask didn't get ruined after having it on for only a couple of minutes. "That's nice of her, don't usually see her in here treating someone," Elizabeth seemed to quip. "I take it she comes here pretty often?" she asked in return after finally getting in a sip of the water. Elizabeth nodded as she climbed back onto her stool and got comfortable. "I see her about once every two months, I believe Wayne sees her weekly," she said in a passing manner as she snapped on a set of latex gloves. Reaching out she touched Malis forehead to check on the mask and see how it was setting up. "Oh that's doing wonderful." "Is there anything else that you're going to need to do once the mask finishes what it's doing? Or should I be good to whatever else it is that Wayne and/or Zoie have planned for me here?" Mali found herself starting to fidget a bit given the lack of things to occupy her body with. She had a feeling that if her seat had had any extra features like wheels or a rotating seat and she was left to her own devices once more that she would bounce around the room for lack of anything better to do. "No, once it is finished, I will remove it, add a moisturizer and you will be all done. Wonderful thing about this one is there is no down time. Others you have to keep your face covered and out of the light for a day. Some leave the face raw and red for days," Elizabeth explained. Many times facials were a pain. They were never done the day of an event yet this one could be. Granted its effects didn't last as long as others did but that was the trade off. It wasn't long before Elizabeth was finishing up with Mali and pulling her gloves back off. "And I think that covers it. Should be ready for Wayne and whoever else Zoie has lined up for you." "Thanks. See you later," Mali said, waving as she left the room. Sure chances were that she'd never meet Shela again, but the automated farewell came out by pure force of habit. Now free of facial masks and allowed to emote once more, she looked around for Zoie, Genny or Wayne or anyone at all that she knew to give some indication of where to go next. She'd avoid having to wander around the spa looking like a child abandoned mid shopping trip who had to ask where their mama was if she could help it. It wasn't too long before Genny came around the corner and smiled over at Mali. "Ahh, all finished? Wonderful. Time to take you over to [a href="https://queerty-prodweb.s3.amazonaws.com/wp/docs/2016/03/adore-delano-austin-young-drag-queen-after-party.jpg]Delore[/a]. She will be doing your make up for the evening. I was speaking to Zoie and she was telling me about the event you two are attending tonight. Sorry, she is with Wayne right now getting her hair finished and then she is meeting you for a meal before you go have your hair done while she has her make up taken care of." Motioning for Mali to follow her she led her over to what looked your typical seat and mirror to have ones hair done. The only difference was instead of hair supplies were rows and cases of various make ups. Standing chewing gum and popping bubbles was a woman who stood about six feet tall, black and aqua blue hair, large eyes, thick make up on.. Wait, that wasn't a woman. That was a man, or wasn't. Grinning as she spotted Genny she spoke and it was clear. She as a drag queen. "Darling! So what have you brought me today?" she asked. "This is Mali, you are to take good care of her. She is with Zoie," Genny said and the woman nodded. "Got it love. So you are the one the entire shop is buzzing about. I can see why. Aren't you just spectacular!" Mali looked to the left and to the right. Seeing that there was nobody else Dolores could have been talking about Mali pointed herself. "Really? Me?" A small part of Mali sat back and doubted that the store was actually talking about her, and this was just a way for the store to garner returning customers, but that was almost entirely drowned out by how flattered she was. Blushing like a schoolgirl, she took her seat in the unoccupied chair, ready for whatever the drag queen had in store for her. "Oh hun yes. One, you came in with Zoie so that raised brows. And just look at you. We get a lot of snot nosed brats here trying to all look like carbon copies of barbie. You though, oh girl, you are you. Strong, stunning in more ways than one, an original. So, tell me, I have to know. You a client of hers or something more?" Delore asked as she leaned back against the counter, she was bubbling and looked about to burst with curiosity. Now here, Mali was faced with a serious conundrum. The exact details of what their relationship was supposed to be was never established, so there was no 'canon' explanation to choose from. She could say that she's a client, which would be enough to fill her role as a cover story and be the least likely to clash with anything Zoie might have said to any other of the staff members. However, that wouldn't really satisfy her or Dolores. It was too drab, and . But if she said something more than that, she might accidentally go too far and make Zoie mad. "I'm not sure I'm at liberty to say," she replied with a cocky grin, choosing the hidden third option of playing at being coy and secretive. The look on Dolores' face told her that the secret was likely more interesting than the fact of the matter. All she had to do here was capitalize on it and they'd both be able to walk away happy. Or happy enough. "Oh you tease! That is salacious!" Delore exclaimed as she clapped her hands together. Flipping her teal hair off her shoulders she grinned as she popped another bubble. "Okay darling, well let's get you all set up. Get ready for your close up," she added with a wink before turning around and starting to go through her various make-ups, pulling out several and holding them up close to Malis face so she could find the ride shades that worked with her skin. "I don't know if you've been told this, or how much it'll affect your choices, but Zoie and I are- will be attending a party later tonight. A high class event." It still was awkward saying the words out loud in a way that didn't come off stand-offish, especially when you had to mention it multiple times within the span of a couple hours, but those were the breaks. She didn't want to accidentally get something applied that looked good but was not appropriate for the event tonight, requiring poor Dolores to have to start all over from the beginning. "Don't you put any weight on those broad shoulders of yours girlfriend. I got the dl from Genny. Big todo, we've had several in here today getting done up for tonight. I got you covered," Delores said and popped a bubble of gum and gave a wink to Mali. "Now, just relax," she added as she got to work getting Mali 'done right'. Well, at least she didn't have to worry about that. All there was for her to do was sit back and try her best to stay completely still. Wouldn't want to suddenly fidget while a mascara brush was millimeters away from the eyeball. Delores did her thing. While the woman may have been a bubble gum popping drag queen, she wasn't near as over the top as Wayne was and once she got into her zone she didn't utter really a word as she worked. Concentrated on the task at hand instead of trying to fill the air with meaningless conversation. It wasn't long before she was done and had Mali, in her humble opinion, looking spectacular. The make up was fresh, simple and rather understated. Except for the eyes where she gave a thicker liner to draw attention. "You are going to knock them dead tonight, girl." "Thanks, you did a great job," Mali replied as she checked herself out in the mirror, taking in all the little changes Dolores had made from different angles. With my luck, she thought, after all this effort put in to look pretty for tonight, it'll be raining outside, and neither her nor Zoie had brought an umbrella, ruining much of the benefit derived from this whole excursion. But then again, maybe in such a high class establishment they'd have such things prepared so that their hard work wasn't nullified by common weather patterns. "So all that's left is to go back to Wayne, right?" Mali asked as she got up out of the chair and began to leave the drag queen's corner of the spa. "Wait, I shouldn't be asking you, right? Sorry." Dolores just worked in the make-up department; of course she wouldn't know what else Mali had to have taken care of, and it was thoughtless to ask in the first place. Genny was the one who was keeping track of all that. Speaking of which, Mali looked around, expecting her to materialize any moment now.

Cecily Ashworth

Location: La Hacienda - Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico Skills: Constitution, Marvel Universe Knowledge, Deduction
Cecily nodded, and although she didn't admit it, she was grateful that Natasha didn't like the idea of her contacting her parents for help. She felt obligated to offer, but not having to do it filled her with a small sense of relief. She really didn't enjoy what she was envisioning that conversation would be like. It'd be worse than the Ultimate Marvel Universe - and Wolverine watched his potential kids going at it in the bushes in those comics. If that wasn't any indication of how much Cecily enjoyed talking to her parents, then it was a lost cause. "Maybe I should drive when we get the rental," Cecily offered. "If you're not feeling up to it." She couldn't help but see how drained Natasha appeared. With everything that had happened at La Hacienda, combined with Natasha's treatments, it didn't surprise her at all. Her own bullet wound seemed to be healing nicely and she had driven a death trap in Justice for a few years. She could handle driving them back. She bit her lip - was this MSS employees that were being targeted specifically? It seemed unlikely to her that that was the reason behind it all. According to Alicia's video, she had been recruited by this group. They hadn't killed her because she worked for MSS - they killed her because she betrayed them. Maybe the same thing had happened to Kelley Breeden. Queensguard had killed her - and she was willing to bet that it could be for the same reason they killed Alicia. "I don't think they're targeting MSS employees," Cecily explained. "I think they're recruiting them - Alicia was murdered because she was trying to take this organization down. So was another MSS employee, Lorna, who was caught up in the cross fire. I think Kelley was involved in this as well - whether she was taken down in the cross fire or she tried to betray them, I don't know..." "But at any rate, I think we need to get the death files and body of Breeden. I think I'd also like to go through the file of all female vics we've processed in the last few years - not just homicides by natural causes as well - and tag the ones that would be of interest to Queensguard for recruitment. I'm guessing these aren't the type of people you say no to - or betray."
