[b]Profile:[/b] Jin Law was born prematurely in Fenghuang, China, to a young and unmarried couple as they toured the Hunan Province. His mother was Liu Yang Wu, a 19 year old law student, and his father Liu Wei Luo, a 23 year old thief with a fabricated back story as a photography student and part-time butcher. Struggling to raise their unregistered son while fearful of Liu Yang’s strict parents, the couple spent three months travelling with their son before abandoning him on an adoption centre’s doorstep. The agency took responsibility of him and registered him as ‘Chen Luo’ as written in his apologetic letter of abandonment. He was later adopted by American parents at the age of 6. Due to a pronunciation misunderstanding, his adopted mother had called him Jin Law, long enough for it to become preference before he was legally renamed Jin Johnson with the middle name ‘Law’.
