[@Spirit] exactly! I love making up history and playing already-friends characters, it's likely most of the villagers knew each other (including fiore; her and audra are best friends!) and that definitely changes the story! as of right now, most of the characters were either born or lived most of their lives in the village except possibly victor, so... you can play with that as you like :3 

fiore's friendly with most of the villagers, she probably knows trey somewhat. that depends on who you think trey's close to.

vague references would be fine, as long it's like "this is a scientist who worked with ___ and was quite well known in the village" or whatever. the mechanics come from a large variety of backgrounds, so there would probably be more that we haven't met yet!
