A bride in white Wedding bells ringing The promise of forever Cut short by deaths blade A bride in red Grieving and dismayed The promise of forever Stored within a ring A bride in black Always on attack The screams of those who cross her The sound of music to her ears Bloodied, bruised and battered Her life before her eyes A ring, a sword, her soul as black as coal A bride trapped in darkness Paying for her sins Praying for forgiveness Salvation within a ring I decided to make a teaser poem based on my plot idea. Essentially the plot if your character is the reincarnation of the groom in the poem, and he stumbles upon the cave of my character while out in the woods. Being a gentleman he takes her back to his apartment, having no idea of who or what she is. My character was cursed with immortality and sentenced to an eternity in darkness. This was all the way back in the dark ages so there’s a bit of a culture shock. So whacky hijinks would ensue, eventually love as well though there’s always a threat looming within the background. If you’d like to discuss the plot more and are interested please PM with the title Here comes the Bride!
