Black, pulsing veins seemed to snake their way across Odette's body, stopping only when they had claimed her all the way to her chin.

Instead of being scared or responding further, her own hand grabbed Himekos, and where her ghostly flesh met the Tengus, it began to [i]burn[/i] and a mass of black veins appeared on her arm where contact was made. If Himeko kept holding on to her, something quite bad was likely going to happen.
