[@Eklispe] Yupp, nicely posted. Noted later there were two more dangers the woman probably should mention. And, about the Ponytas. With perhaps the exception of baby-Pokémon, there shouldn't be too many cases where you cannot obtain the pre-evolved Pokémon because the parent is always somewhere nearby. Pokémon don't hang out with their parents all the way to evolution, mostly. There are exceptions, but except for Kangaskhan I don't think there are any on this route. Yeah, that'll do. Tell me if you want more info on the area or so.
