John watched the confrontation in the classroom carefully, ready to step in if it escalated and put the female students in danger. John's racing heart returns to its normal rate as he began to feel calm all of a sudden. Next thing he knew, Mimic was shepherding them out of the classroom. John follows the line of students outside and takes a seat in the bleachers.

After Anthony and Ben sit in the bleachers outside, Anthony sits next to Ben and begins speaking quietly to him. While listening to Anthony, Ben closes his eyes against the glare of the sun, then begins smiling slowly, showing his fangs.
