As the light subsided and the surroundings became much more clear, Rinh found herself standing amdist others who seemed genuinely confused. Rinh was still standing in the same pose she had used to burn her letter. Gauntlet extended in front of her like she was about to fire off some kind of attack from her palm, feet planted firmly on the ground, and her non-Gauntlet hand raised above her head like she was about to swing it down in a chop. It was only after the booming voice bade everyone welcome that she realized her stance, her strange location, and the fact that she was most certainly not alone. Rinh didn't even care to watch the dazzling display of magic from the sword-cane thing. She rushed towards the nearest tree, just off the side of the pathway they had been on, and tapped on the bark with her knuckles. It was different from the trees back home. Maybe oak? Cedar? Didn't matter. She snapped off a branch and continued to break said branch into smaller sticks. Trees were incredibly handy components and she wasn't about to let it go to waste. The curious young lady turned to acknowledge the others only after she had gathered the twigs and sticks. She couldn't help herself, supplies were often so hard to come by back home now that her neighbors kept making their fences too tall and too pointed to climb reliably. As she glanced at the others and at the overgrown castle she found it weird that no one was doing much of anything. Sure, the whole teleportation thing was definitely worthy of some confusion, but when had standing around ever accomplished anything? "Hey!" Rinh cupped her hands around her mouth as she spoke, waving her Gauntlet-clad right hand over her head. "Isn't this place cool? Just so you know, my name's Rinh and I dunno who you guys are but in a few years you'll all have heard of me. HEY, LADY!" Rinh now was talking to the one who had been with the strange cane-guy. "This place have a room with a window and good ventilation? Because I'm calling dibs on it right now." With the introduction, of sorts, out of the way, Rinh turned her attention to more pressing matters. Like lifting up a nearby stone to look for moss or other useful things. This sort of flora and fauna would do wonders for her experiments.
