About a week ago, she threw another birthday bash, which was also her official going away party at Buckley's gymnasium. People were still raving on and on about the party that she had threw and how much they missed her and were going to miss her from Buckley. Dominica felt appreciated and loved from her peers while hoping that the students of Beverly Hills High were exactly the same way, which some were but others weren't, so far anyway. She was already up and about, moving around with her cellphone practically glued to her hands. Dominica scurried herself to go and get ready before her mother, Dominique, came into her room with her annual hurry up and be ready speech. She had showered, brushed her teeth and then got dressed before she went over to her vanity mirror then sat down, putting on light touches of makeup and lip gloss. Dominica heard a light knock on her door as it was Esmeralda, letting her know that breakfast was ready and her parents were almost downstairs. She thanked her for the heads up as once she was finished, she grabbed her Michael Kors purse and stuffed her cellphone inside it as she exited her room then made a trek towards the stairs. There, she was met by her father, who greeted her with a very lively good morning and Dominica laughed then gave him a good morning back. Dominique was at the dining table already as Dominica looked at her father, Norman, with a raised brow. Dominique greeted them both and they returned the favor as Dominica sat in front of her and beside Norman. Esmeralda served them their breakfast as they said grace then grabbed their forks and knives, even placed their napkins in their laps and started to eat breakfast. "So, people are still talking about my party." Dominica stated as her mother eyed her with a smile forming among her lips. "That's good. I told you that you'd leave your mark at Buckley. Now you just have make one at Beverly Hills." Dominique happily replied as Norman shook his head at the two then asked a question towards Dominica. "How did your month go at Beverly Hills anyway? Dominica shrugged her shoulders at the question then looked towards her father. "Alright, I'm assuming. I'm still there, aren't I?" She bluntly said as Dominique eyed her then looked at Norman. "She does have a point there." Dominique said in agreement then shook his head again. "I'm not even going to argue with two queens before me, your majesties." Norman joked and even added a bow as Dominica gasped, rummaging through her purse and grabbed her cellphone to look at the time. "Oh, my goodness. I do not want to be late so I must leave now." Dominica stated as she dropped her phone back into her purse and placed her purse around her wrist. She kissed her mother and father goodbye individually then waltzed by the table beside the door and grabbed her car keys and continued onward towards the outside, getting inside of her vehicle now. Before she started up her engine, she sent out a text to the group chat. From there, she dropped her phone into the cup holder and was now on her way to the local high school, Beverly Hills High. The campus was literally a few minutes away from The Saunders Residence, which was a good thing in her case because she did like to be early. When she arrived on campus and parked in the parking space assigned to her, Dominica shut her engine off and got out of the vehicle as she stood with her head held high then closed the door behind her. Her heels clicked with a force as she walked on the paved road and onto the campus now then eventually inside of the building where her locker was situated. She made a quick and brief stop, only grabbing her spiral notebook, black binder and her pink mechanical pencil along with her pink glitter pen. She closed her locker and turned heel then headed towards the homeroom classroom. Dominica was almost the first one there but the loners and nerds were already in there, which caused her to groan slightly. She sat in the middle of the classroom then gazed at the doorway as people started to flutter into the classroom now. She had already been introduced to the class and most people talked to her, too. Dominica listened in, more like eavesdropped, on a few of the conversations going on around her. In her mind, the clique system had similarities to the one at Buckley but was also very different. Dominica pulled out her cell phone and started to scroll through it as she waited for class to begin or someone to talk to her first.
