Yeah, we're going to be flying solo in our own little stories for awhile, until someone's characters have the gumption to leave home so we can have interactions.
This was one of the reasons I had an idea of being a bunch of merchant nomads who'd go cross country, so they'd have something to do and would be easy to interact with for other people. As for my NS, I've hit a road block in terms of actually writing people. I'll probably just put up what I have to expedite things and as to not dawdle anymore.
THE CHURCH OF THE FALLING STAR THE SANCTUARY
Once a crumbling rural stone chapel, the Church of the Falling Star has dutifully rebuilt and fortified into a self-proclaims "fortress-monastery". Complete with communal dining hall, sleeping cells, a library, an armory-forge, a radio communications room with a "Pillar of Light" (broadcasting beacon), and underground cellars, the Church is confident it can weather the "Star Fall". Many of these additions have been tacked on to the side or on top of the old chapel, forcing its silhouette into a new, much larger shape. Farming plots and animal pens for sheep, chickens and pigs have been set up with the animals provided by farmers who have seen the light. A few separate buildings been set up to act as guard houses, outdoor workshops, communal grounds and storage barns. A rudimentary wall of logs, sheet metal and homemade barbed wire marks the outer wall of the compound although some farms and "guard stations" (read: glorified bathtubs basically) mark the "frontier". Loud speakers are common in the territory of the Church and used to signal prayer and other messages while numerous flags and other iconography is used to display who now owns these lands and the great solar deity who protects them. The vaults of the Church contain several years' worth of nonperishable food even though they plan to rely on their farmland and farming knowledge. Common over the counter medicines, vitamin supplements and even a few prescription painkillers along with medical kits and gasmasks are used to treated wounds but the Followers of the Falling Star hope to use their own herb greenhouse to make herbal remedies as well as prayer. There are few if any power tools and but plenty of toolboxes. Most important of all is the raw material stockpiles of logs, scrap metal and fabrics the Church possess and uses to craft anything they cannot get their hands on. The armory contains weapons of simpler designs, the Grand Inquisitor knowing that they will not be able to rely on modern, complex firearms forever has opted to arm his followers in a more basic manner. As such, nearly all fire arms are bolt action or revolvers:

Remington Model 700 Rifles w/ 4,000 rounds of .308 Winchester
Smith and Wesson Model 686 Revolvers w/ 7,000 rounds of .357 Magnum
Henry Lever Action Carbines w/ 7,000 rounds of .357 Magnum
Double Barrel Shotguns w/ 3,000 of 12 Gauge Buck
Crossbows w/ 7,000 Bolts
Homemade Flamethrowers to Purge
Axes, Machetes, Homemade Swords, Hammers

THE FAITHFUL
Through the charismatic preaching's of its Grand Hierophant, Adam Varizino, the Church of the Falling Star has gathered a 17 adults and 5 children. While some do truly believe the words of the blessed prophets, others aren't so pious but believe they see the writing on the wall and joined as a means of surviving the end, willing to pay lip service or just entertain the Church's ideas as a mean to fit in. The Grand Hierophant, Adam "the Prophet" Varizino is a man in his 30's that just exudes charisma with an almost supernatural ability to preach and influence people. He claims to have been "born of the heavens" and sent down to tell of the "Twilight of Man". Whatever the case, anyone sane presumes that much of his gifts come from a deep understanding of psychology and a strong, confident personality as well as a magnanimous attitude.
THE CANON
"Do you not see the signs? Do you not see how the wind howls and how the birds no longer sing! Do you not see how the world sours itself under the weight of its own filth! Do you not feel the rotting dread deep within you my brothers and sisters! Do you not feel how we have angered Lord all mighty! For centuries we have let governments and wealth and politics and false idols blind us! For centuries we have been awaiting damnation! I tell you, I do, of when the stars falls and the very heavens themselves blacken with the souls of the lost and the damned where not even the so called worthy will survive! There will be no redemption, no salvation, no rapture for those who cling to the sickening pollution of old gods and false lies! Every day, our reckoning creeps ever closer! Do you not feel it! Do you not feel the Sun setting upon humanity! Oh how the light leaves us and the dark drags us! The so called 'wise' will say we have nothing to worry about and the so called 'pious' will proclaim with serpent tongues that the god they worship will save them, but they are of the darkness that shall consume the world! The most holy and hallowed ground of our forefathers and their forefathers! Lost to the shadows of the apocalypse! The stars will fall and rain down hellfire upon those who are not prepared! The light is lost to all those who are blindly ignorant to the truth and thus I beg of you, of mankind, of all of Earth to heed my warning! The heavens shall shatter and the stars will fall and the light of mankind will forever extinguish into eternal nightmares less you heed my clarion call to arms! To arms brothers, to arms sisters! To arms to defend what good remains of man and what good remains of his achievement for we shall not go silently unto that most dark and dreaded night silently!"
