[@BlueSky44]
Cynthia
Interacting With: Jason and Janelle || Location: Cynthia's Office Cynthia scowled as the bit of paper fell straight to the floor, telling her that the two of them truly weren’t there. They were either solely in her mind, or projections. She truly hoped that they weren’t figments of her imagination, she had already experienced plenty of craziness in the past few hours, more would be too much to file away. Moments later, an intern barged into the room with a large stack of papers in his arms. He was new to the company, just trying to get some good recommendations for other jobs -maybe even a promotion here, if he worked hard enough- but it still irked Cynthia that he opened the door without awaiting a response from her. Turning to the duo, she mouthed ‘Memorize my number’, before turning back to the intern with a polite smile. “Are those the papers that were faxed to me Friday?” She asked the intern, Gerald. He blinked once, before scrambling to thumb through the files. Once he had finished, he looked up to Cynthia and gave her a small nod, confirming that they were the papers that had been faxed to her. They were important to a recent case that she was thinking of taking on, since she was sympathetic towards the victim’s family. “Put them into my case files, but set the details of the crime on my desk.” She held back a small sigh, realizing just how busy she’d be for the rest of the day. She only hoped that things would settle down by the evening, so she would be able to think over everything that had been happening in her personal life. Gerald entered the room and pulled a chair over to Cynthia’s file cabinets. They were organized by case, then by document, then alphabetized. Awkwardly, Cynthia inched over to Jason and Janelle, gesturing towards the door so she could lead them out. “First door on the left, take the elevator out.”
