Hopefully, you don't mind my character and that they are a lesser who's going to have a lot of interaction with the 5 nations.

Name Merlí DOMAIN N/A Appearence A pale figure that is often wrapped in a fine woven robe giving him a modest look despite the exquisite fabric used. The hood on his robes are usually pulled up that hides his face, with it maybe being the reason for his light skin or perhaps for protecting his fair complexion, he only takes it off only when needed. It is not surprising that a person like him would have a lithe physique that accompanies his long hair, gleaming in an array of different colorful shades and tints like a rainbow when in contact with just the right amount of light. He gives off the presence of awe that comes from his playful and euphoric attitude that is seemingly ephemeral in the way like the passing of the seasons. Personality A curious figure to appear at court who rather seems ill-fit for the duties that would be assigned to someone part of the pantheon. Yet despite this, he at least is suited to be considered at the very least for the various positions that value the talents displayed by him. Perhaps he came to the court for simply the fun of it, which wouldn't be too far-fetched for what people normally expect of him. His personality isn't what you would consider 'distasteful' compared to the demeanors that other gods may have and how they carry themselves among their peers. Mostly, he stands around bubbly and aloof that often has others thinking less of him, or at minimum a scatterbrain and forgetful. It mostly holds true whenever he is lost in thought, having his attention elsewhere until something interests him. Compared to the dull aspects that are Gods, he prefers the interaction of humans who are much more interesting with what they are capable of doing for themselves. Like those humans, Merlí is a puzzle to figure out as well, seemingly catching things even if he was lost in his thoughts once again. Along with surprising clarity that comes from time to time when he simply feels like it is something needed. One could call it a mask he wears, dancing between the dichotomy that many overlook for the reputation that he has. Only those who have spent some significant time knowing Merlí would know the changes in his demeanor, but perhaps it would be best left alone. Powers List The Eyes that Wanders Beyond (✦): Perhaps the reason to why the God is always lost in his own thoughts, concerned of matters pertaining to the finer things that these eyes can see. They allow him to see beyond what normal eyes can do even from the perception of other gods, focused on the present rather than the past or future which is usually expected of such an ability. Allowing him to project his sight over immense distances where he doesn't even need to be there or seeing through magical glamour meant to hide something. They can even see the work of conceptual and essential forces doing their task throughout the world as many take them for granted. These while a gift can be also considered a curse that ironically blinds Merlí from the present situation when he has his attention or interest elsewhere. While the sensitivity of his eyes are not limited to what is currently happening but is perhaps too volatile to see the future or past. Rather than receiving hints, he instead sees everything that could happen or could've been, peering into different timelines and realities that do not pertain to the likelihood of what is possible in his current situation. The ability to see the future is there but instead provides too much information to sort out even with his divine nature accounted for. In the end, consider the ability to see either the future or past with these eyes impossible. Knowledge of the Chronicler (✦): Lacking the ability to peer into the past, Merlí has taken the steps to be involved in the history of mortals to know what has been, it is perhaps another reason to his constant distance he has between others. There is no doubt though that he is a reliable source of knowledge when it comes to what humans do or have done, recording events that have shaken up their history and society. This knowledge is akin to a teacher of history that knows what has been going on in the 5 nations, ranging from major topics to even minor ones that may bloom into something savory. People who are influential in these events are considered to part of his general knowledge that is aware of and watching as they make their moves. Art of the Magi (✦✦): Often thought to be contradictory to the nature of Merlí, his studies in the forces that drive magic in this world is sometimes surprising even to his close divine companions. He rarely makes such obvious use of it or flaunting it for others to see his accomplishments, instead preferring to simply watch and understand it. There are many aspects to magic that are perceived by people which he agrees with. Some call it 'the Art' for its reputation perceived by many as an elite discipline requiring artistry and talent to which he agrees with. For it births the possibility to create wonders of awe and beauty that without it would make the world certainly be much more miserable.Other times it has been called the incarnate of chaos, being a primal and dangerous force that is merciless and destructive in its path when wielded without caution. The final thought is that it can be considered science, knowledge which can only be learned through extensive study, discipline, and hard work that the person goes through. It can be considered akin to progress that drives advancement. However, in the end, magic is all of those. Depending on who calls upon it shapes it purpose and desires. It can be a beautiful art that enlightens those around, a maelstrom of chaos that destroys, or a discovery that moves the world forward. That is its true nature, a force neutral until given shape and flows throughout the world like a stream of life. It is the ability that represents Merlí's ability to not only control the force that is magic and shape it to his desires but understand its properties. His knowledge at this point is beyond what humanity understands at this point and time by leaps and bounds simply due to his nature that allows him to understand things differently than them. Having this knowledge, he is able to control magic with refined finesse and twist it in ways that only masters could safely pull off along with an immense repertoire of spells to use as well. The more time that is placed into channeling the mystic force allows greater effects to be realized, scaling with his power stat, even simple and quick spells may be effective in combat as bolts of fire or streaks of lightning. The effects of his magic can replicate many abilities that would fall under the domain of other Gods and effectively be ultimately subordinate to them if they are of greater power than him. To essentials who are representations of what they are would automatically take over the authority of his magic's intended effect should he replicate the element that makes them who they are, however, this is usually due to their immense power over their domain. Stats Mortal Affairs: 0 ( - ), There are two types of people: Those who see opportunity and take advantage, and those who forge the opprotunities themselves. For someone like Merlí, it is perhaps surprising he has the initiative to do such a thing but he is capable of acquiring the favor of mortals when needed. There has been a passing of time since his last major interaction with the world, very very few of those who once met him still live, but to remember who he is would be different in their states. Influence: -2 (✧✧), Rather unknown to his divine peers as a God who has abandoned trying to keep his rapport with them and the tedious games they play. His appearance to the court is perhaps unexpected for a Stranger who has been ostracized in the politics taking place within the heavens. Even among his group of outcasts, few even know what domain he has claim over or what even his abilities are that makes them his divinity questionable.
