Unfortunately during the Fall of Man submarines in general were destroyed and lost to the monsters, nowadays folks don't even know how to make them. Like Airplanes. Nobody knows how to make 'em or fly 'em anymore. INstead we use blimps and airships. Slower, but good for cargo hauling. Also Helicopters for attack capability, but no airplanes.
