Well then you arent talking about ethnonationalism, youre just saying that assimilation needs to happen slowly. But I promise you, any actual ethnonationalist, including Andreyich would never accept that a Lebanese person can become an Australian as long as he doesnt sponge off the government and he drives his Ute into a tree.

And the fact you dont care what the population look like 'neon sign nation' as long as it happens gradually actually goes against the idea of ethno-nationalism. They dictate that someone from an arab background, will always think, act and promote arab interests so assimilation is a myth.
