Mako listened patiently to the Faun's whole story before answering her question. From what she was being told, it sounded like Lilac's Granny was possibly a witch herself, which made Mako like this young Faun even more. I have less power than the Great Witch, and I am good and kind while she was evil and cruel, but there is little difference between how dark her magic was and how dark mine is. The teacher led the two to the assembly, directing them to some scarce free seats, before she went and sat with the other teachers.
