Aside from himself and Quentin, everyone was of the belief he accepted the position to further his career. The reality and sole purpose of his decision was to hunt down his former partner using the new investigative units resources. He could have gone solo in his search but why not take advantage of such a plethora of information and equipment. Details of police informants and criminal hangout locations, hacking tools and recon drones, it was all going to come in useful in his search. As he entered the Central Precinct entrance he was greeted with an abundance of smells that dug deep into his nostrils, so pungent that he could taste them down the back of his throat. The smell of stale blood, vomit and fecal matter was something that was still difficult to get to grips with, even after eight years. He made his way towards the main desk not breaking a stride, using his arms to push people out of his way. At the desk he spoke, "I'm here for the meeting." For most days that would be vague but today there was only one meeting that mattered. Connor's intimidating stare and badge on show made it clear what he was there for. The girl behind the desk pointed in the direction of meeting room, telling Connor he was late. He glared a hole through her, "Look...i'm fifteen minutes late, if that ruins their day then so be it." With that he turned away and walked to the meeting room. He would never have spoken to anyone that way before, but with his life being turned upside down he was still struggling to return to himself. He entered the room without a knock and looked around the room before finding the superior officer. He focus his glare at them, "Connor Sully reporting for duty." With that he walked to an empty seat out of the way and sat himself down.
