No, what makes it overrated is the legion of people who think the Sakura series on Steam is the pinnacle of visual novels singing its praises for being the laziest possible 'game as lewd delivery' service despite being mediocre at a lewd game, abysmal with its humor, and saved with its voice performance because at least they were paid to make awful dialog sound marginally less awful. And if you're going to come at me with opinions that are supposed to be representative of what I think, at least get them right. I think Doki Doki Literature Club is worse than HuniePop even though it's aimed at a similar crowd.
