Yet it wasn't until she read the text and had Natasha remind her of her position as interim coroner that she realized she had the power to stop that transfer. While she didn't have the qualifications to be a coroner, Cecily had forgotten the position of power and authority that brought with it. She was capable of stopping that body transfer. Pulling out her phone, Cecily shot back a quick text to the individual who had alerted her that the body was at the airport.
This is Ashworth. Halt the transfer. Dr. Brinne will be sending a team to pick up and store the body.
"There, should be halted," Cecily said. Her timing was near perfect - the taxi had just arrived. And while she was paranoid and was developing trust issues, Natasha had saved her life. If she vouched for this man - and she clearly did - then he could be trusted to handle this situation. Had it been a random security officer, Cecily likely would have reached out to Roy instead. She climbed into the taxi after Natasha, feeling her phone vibrate twice. She preferred texts to calls, so she didn't mind it too much. Getting herself situated, she closed the cab door and buckled up, before opening the texts in order that they had come in. While she smiled softly at the message from Riley, Roy's message elicited a large grin on her face.
To Riley: I'm good - and sure thing. Hoping you're okay as well. -C

To Roy: Will do. Got Dr. Strange with me, should be fine. And be careful, Logan. -C
She was trying hard to not grin broadly but she couldn't help it. It wasn't a romantic happiness. No, it was the strong friendship, the almost family like dynamic that could exist between cops and their partners. Roy was her partner - it didn't matter that she worked forensics and he worked homicides. "Natasha - unrelated, but do you like the X-Men?"
