It was a literal switch of a button thing. The one moment the woman was there, the next she was gone right from before Amelia's eyes. It was like one of those magics of the movie industry. Amelia for a moment panicked and looked about, noticing that the woman was indeed gone and that everyone was continuing to do their thing, walking about to their destinations, leaving her alone in this pleasant day and not really empty park. Alone among the many. "Maybe like this is better?" Amelia mumbled to herself, clentching her dead mobile phone, wondering what she could do now? She needed a phone! What if someone called her? Well no other choice really, she was going to have to try to find one extremely cheap on the second or third hand vendors. At this point it didn't matter on the apps side, she just needed to be able to dial numbers an recieve calls. How she wished it was like in those scifi-ish movies where you can get a literal paper burner phone in a moment's notice. She relaxed in the bench and looked up at the skies. She missed home , not where she currently lived, but rather her uncle. Her current home was okey enough, nothing special, but not bad either. It was a nice little place that suited her well, but hse feared to return there now because of the neighbor. If this continued she was going to have to call the cops eventually. That mentioned, she could do nothing about him right now. He was someone she could eventually help, but she also didn't really want to. She was a cop and as a cop she couldn't bust him up without reason, they didn't take 'I read his mind' as a good reason for arrest. She could try to befriend him and try to convince him off the drug, to enter a clinic, but he was not her friend either so for now she just waited. If he showed signs of critical condition where he might OD or something, she would interfere. For now she was not going to act. With that she locked up her home, put on her jacket an walked outside, opening her umbrella as she she stepped into the rain. She had to first walk to her car. For her joy no other cars passed to shower her with the water gathered in puddles as they passed through them. As soon as she entered her good ol' car, she sighed in relief, turned on the radio and started driving towards the ME office where Olivia worked at. The treck was rather uneventful, most people driving carefully in the rain for obvious reasons. The trafic was a little on the light side because well most people were already at work. It was morning after all. There was a good at least 5-6 hours till the afternoon rush starts when people start leaving work to get home, then was the nightmare traffic, but the best time for the traffic cops. So many people to bust! Eventually she finally reached the ME office, parked in the parking lot an dashed towards the entrance, to hide from the rain. There she found Olivia." Hhey, good to finally meet you in person. You ready to go?" She asked, giving a charming smile, getting closer. Now that she was physically with Olivia she wondered what was swirling in her head. Claire couldn't help herself, but wondering and taking a peek.
