Rule the world: Team Rocket The Story: Our heroes of Generation 1 and Generation 2 didn't exist (ie: Red, Blue, Gold, etc). Team Rocket is a secret organization that controls the government of Kanto and Johto. We have to defeat them with no one able to help you as they don't believe you that they are back. Mewtwo can also be a problem because it escaped from Team Rocket's clutches. You have to save Kanto and Johto from team Rocket but after you do, there is a new threat, Mewtwo. GENERAL OVERVIEW - Generation I/II Only - Red/Blue/Green/Yellow and Gold/Silver/Crystal - Canon main protagonists do not exist. - Main Antagonist: Giovanni - Initial - Second Antagonist: Mewtwo - After Giovanni - Timeline: Must follow own timeline, cannot follow different generations like III / IV / V / VI / VII. - No Mega-Evolutions - No Glitch pokemon - No pokemon beyond Generation 1 or 2. This will include baby pokemon, extended evolutions, and additions to the Eevee evolutions line aren't allowed to be used if they are not in the Generation I or II pokedex. COMBAT OVERVIEW - Moves will have tiers, which can be "overchanneled", but using a move above your evolutionary tier hurts your Pokemon. You may only channel one tier above your evolutionary level. Ex: Spark -> Thundershock -> Thunderbolt -> Thunder Ex: Bubble -> Water gun -> Surf -> Hydro Pump Ex: Ember -> Fire Spin -> Flamethrower -> Fire Blast - Movesets include basic combat techniques, such as biting, clawing, kicking or punching as appropriate. However, certain Pokemon specialize in these moves and they are more powerful. - Combat behaves like an Arena type combat, where an attacker indicates their move, the defender reacts by indicating their reaction and action. The "best" and most thoughtful fighter should win with their Pokemon unless type indicates there is no real "win" scenario. - Special moves, such as a One-Hit KO should be left to the Game Master. - Super Effective moves can still be absorbed, but the Pokemon is more or less severely disabled after taking such a blow unless they used an ability that would reduce the injury. - Not Very Effective movies are glancing blows and mostly for show, meaning they are absorbed by the defender with no real need to even defend themselves. POKEMON OVERVIEW - Each players start with one Pokemon from the Starter Pokemon list. The Game Master may determine if that player is worthy of the Pokemon in question. There should only be one of each starter, if any at all are to be given out. - Unobtaniable Pokemon: Any Pokemon not found in Generation I/II. Any "Legendary Pokemon". Any Very Rare pokemon after starter choosing. - Lost Pokemon: Any Pokemon that could not appear without following canon. Omanyte, Omastar, Kabuto, Kabutops, Aerodactyl - Starter Pokemon: Any Pokemon of the first tier of evolution or from the list below. Any starter Pokemon is obtained through a Professor (Rowan or Oak) and must be part of the character background. Any Common or Unusual can be caught at a later date where appropriate and when under the guidance of the Game Master. Any pokemon not listed here that is not stated unobtainable above can also be caught at a later date and when appropriate and when under the guidance of the Game Master but they can not be your starter pokemon.
