It actually isn't as the same as you think. 

If someone asks you in a job interview, how much experience you have with working or with the particular job, you wouldn't tell them where you were born or your address or who your parents are. You'd stay relevant to the question. 

Yes, the experience could be referenced in the bio, but that isn't necessarily as specific a fair amount of the time.
