The first facial feature you’ll recognise of her are those highly distinctive turquoise eyes that she possess. Her face is heart-shaped, her nose pert, and her lips a healthy shade of pink. In times of happiness, darling little dents of delight appears on her youthful visage, the dimples ever present whenever any form of smile or grin makes itself known. Her shoulder-length hair is a rich shade of turquoise  that may appear to be a lighter or darker hue, depending on the lighting conditions. 

Her locks are normally worn down unless she is involved in activities that require ease of movement. Her skin is fair and creamy and boasts a hint of golden undertones and is unblemished without any sign of physical scars. If she was to be asked about her favourite feature, her eyes would win without any further hesitation on her part. Focused and expressive, her eyes are like windows to her soul, and carries a message even when her lips doesn’t. Her figure is pear-shaped with her fair share of muscles gained from her highly physical lifestyle as a snowboarder. Her bust is of a moderate size, and her hips slightly curvier than average. Her clothing is pretty subdued but still fashionable. Despite her wealth, she does not chase after brands, and she does not give off the impression that she's the daughter of a billionaire. When she was young, she had always proven to be an especially talkative and bubbly child who was very much someone who loved talking. Her peers used to often say that she could possibly even coax the spots off a leopard. That may not be necessarily true, but the girl was certainly not a quiet or negative one by any means.

Being brave and adventurous has been something Anna has never lacked from a young age. Being afraid of hardly anything, and highly inquisitive, she would be keen and curious enough to try everything and give it at least a go. Always chipper and energetic, there’s hardly any downtime with her, and she’ll always be going off doing something, or on route to doing some crazy activity. It isn’t wrong to say that she leads a hyperactive lifestyle and loves getting her hands dirty and involved..

She enjoys other people taking an interest in her activities and sometimes don’t even mind them getting into her space. Of course, that’s on the condition that they don’t intrude on her principles and freedom and she hopes they return in kind. She enjoys lending a hand and sharing their experience, especially with the people they care about. She may act all tough, but she’s actually a real softie. She’s not one quick to anger. It’ll take quite a bit to anger her, but once she does, you’re in for it. A highly emotional individual, she is also known to be incredibly passionate about what she believes in.[/color]

Anna can absorb, shape and manipulate neon, a colourless, odourless, and inert mono-atomic gas that glows a bright magenta when an electric current is passed through it. Using this ability, she is able to transform herself into neon to move around and react at superhuman speeds, jump large distances or even run up vertical surfaces like walls. 

As she grows more familiar with her techniques in her new powers, she will find that she will be able to use these abilities in more advanced ways such as augmenting her kicks and punches with powered neon energy and firing off neon-powered blasts of energy. Currently, she is still getting a hang of her basic powers, and is [i]still very much limited to the transforming into neon and moving and reacting at superhuman speeds aspect of her ability.[/i] In times of distress or nervousness, this can trigger her ability, turning her into bright magenta glowing swirls against her will. Being from New York City, which is very much a neon concrete jungle, everyone she walks near a neon sign or light, she also inadvertently absorbs some of the neon energy that remains within her body to use or expelled at a later date.

[indent][color=gray]Anna was born in Saint Petersburg, the second largest city in Russia on a rather chilly morning still several hours too early before the sun would rise to take its throne in the sky.  It was said that on this very day that she was born, the snow in the city reached a new record, rising at least five feet above its usual height. Some would say that her being born of this special day gave her a set of chocolate brown eyes that went along perfectly with her creamy complexion and her hair a rich brown, the colour of cocoa. A year after she was born, her younger brother Anton was born. Born into an extremely wealthy family, the two children had everything they desired. Vladimir Sukhinov was one of the richest oil tycoons in Russia and money was not a problem for the family growing up. Despite the riches, the two of them did not grow up spoiled as they were taught to behave with respect and humility to all. 

The two siblings were very sports-oriented and got involved in snow sports very early on as Vladimir was a big fan of skiing himself. The family would go on numerous holiday trips to the luxurious ski resorts where Anna would learn snowboarding to her heart's content. Being very involved in their sports of choice, the two siblings entered in their respective competitions and while Anton did not fare as well as his sister, the one thing they shared in common was that they always had fun no matter what place they finished at. Anna fared very well in such competitions and was regarded as one of the top ten best young snowboarders in the country at the age of fourteen. In a bid to focus on the American market, Vladimir moved his family over to New York City to focus on his New York company headquarters, and Anna and Anton were forced to very reluctantly leave their best friends and all the other people they knew and loved behind to start a completely new life in the United States of America. 

Thinking that a sense of change would be good for the children, Vladimir and Alina decided to not enrol them in a prestigious private school and instead opted for a rather ordinary high school called Midview High. Anna did her best to adjust to the new culture and as time went on, she slowly began to get used to the American way of life.The virus brought upon a terrible tragedy to the family. Despite trying their best to ground and restrict their children from going out, Anna and Anton still eventually fell prey to the contagious virus that was catching everyone by storm. They were the only ones in the family to catch the virus. While Anna may have successfully fought off the virus after a nail-biting ordeal, her younger brother was not so lucky. He would eventually fall as one of the many casualties the virus would claim, and Anna was left as the family's only child with the death of her brother. 

Anna was never quite the same again after that. She would occasionally be spacing out at certain times of the day as she struggled to cope with the grief of losing the dear brother she had been so close to. Time healed most wounds, and while she is no longer in grieving and or as depressed as she once was, the girl still carries the emotional scars with her to this very day. She tries to live her life the best she can in the loving memory of Anton. She knew he would be delighted to see her thriving through adversity. It was in the midst of her grieving period that Anna discovered her powers. She noticed how in times of heightened emotional states, the world would go into slow motion as she is able to do things she would normally not be able to do like running at superhuman speeds or running up the walls of buildings in a non-corporeal form. 

She also noticed that she was able to absorb energy from the many neon signs in the city and turn this energy into something she can convert and use for her super speeds and probably more once she figures out how.[/color] [i][color=gray]Only time would tell.[/color][/i][/indent][/indent][hr]
