She needed to do some more research if she was going to pursue her line of thought any sooner. Spells, procedures, mages’ scrawlings on the subject. And here she was. In the middle of [i]nowhere[/i]. She eventually was encouraged and finally convinced to pay more attention to where she was going by the tall grass. Yeah, it was getting more “nowhere” by the minute. Calieo seemed like she didn’t even know what it was. “Um,” Rebecca answered dryly. “It’s called [i]grass?[/i] It grows really tall when nothing’s around to keep it trimmed down?” She sighed when Chambala mentioned there might be snakes roaming around in it, too. Another thing to watch out for. Denise’s dance provided an interesting distraction, though. Such displays of magic always fascinated Rebecca. Like the way her grandmother could bring the most soothing sunlight and moonlight into a room with a mere whim. That subtlety that came from sheer power and mastery, that was something she wished to be able to tap into, someday. She raised an eyebrow at Chambala when she pointed out how unsafe it could have been, though.
