While most of her body is concealed by her flowing blue, red, and golden robes, her exposed forearms and hands have the appearance of carved ice, revealing her identity as a magical creature, or Mythic, as well as icy protrusions from her head resembling the horns of a dragon. Her face is also completely and inexplicably concealed by her hood, which only reveals her sharp and expressive blue eyes and nothing else. Despite her rather intimidating presence and appearing so cold that she even leaves icy footprints on the ground where she walks, she carries herself with grace and gentleness and speaks in a warm, friendly tone of voice with the recognizable tinge of a Nordic accent.[/indent] [u][b]PERSONALITY TRAITS [/b][/u] [indent]■Amicable[/indent][indent]■Confident[/indent][indent]■Meddlesome[/indent][indent]■Tenacious[/indent][indent]■Naturally Friendly to Animals[/indent][indent]■Just[/indent][indent]■Technologically Inept[/indent][indent]■Fish Out of Water[/indent] [u][b]BACKSTORY & MOTIVATION [/b][/u] [indent]Not all Mythics appear as they do in the myths and legends that humanity speaks of. One such race is the Jötunn, a race of Mythics known to the ancient Norse. While they were remembered as ugly, brutish, orc-like monsters in the Nordic myth, the actual Jötunn were far different. Far from being ogres, the ice giants were in fact literal ice giants, beings composed of what was essentially living ice in a giant, humanoid form. Coming to prefer solitude and isolation, the Jötunn eventually settled in the cold regions of the world far from humanity, and even in the most desolately cold environments you can still find Jötunn villages thousands of years old. Klara hailed from one of these tiny villages, deep in the Scandanavian mountains, but at a very young age it was all taken from her. A mysterious and powerful enemy assaulted Klara's village, slaughtering every man, woman and child he could find and reducing the town to ashes in search of some unknown prize. Klara and a few of the orphaned children were saved by agents of an organization known as Sanctum, a secretive band of Mythics who sought to protect their kind from those who would inflict harm on them, and spirited away to an isolated shrine in Southeast Asia, magically chilled to arctic temperatures. Klara grew up in this strange land far from the modern world, learning the basics of how to live, how to read and write and, most importantly, learning the ways of ki. Klara turned out to be surprisingly talented in the art of ki manipulation, the result of a dragon bloodline in her family tree (don't ask how), and by the time she became an adult the leadership of Sanctum readily agreed that Klara's skills should not go unused. She was approached with the offer to become an agent for Sanctum, which Klara readily accepted, seeing her status as an agent as a golden opportunity to escape the isolation of the Sanctum and explore the world, righting wrongs where she could find them and becoming what she had heard humans call a "Nomad". [/indent] [h3][b]FIGHTING STYLE & ABILITIES[/b][/h3] [indent][u][b]FIGHTING STYLE [/b][/u] [indent]Klara's base fighting style is technically simple, nothing flashy or particularly delicate and relying on moves that are blunt, aggressive, and oftentimes just a bit uncoordinated and solely reliant on her well-above average strength. This is made up for in spades by the fact that she is a Jotunn and possesses an impressive array of ice-based ki powers, augmented further by her draconic heritage. Her ice powers give her an impressive amount of versatility in a fight, giving her breathing room to assess the situation and pick the right attack or power to exploit a weakness or counter an enemy move.[/indent] [u][b]SPECIAL MOVES & TECHNIQUES [/b][/u] [indent][u]■ Ice Blast[/u] [indent]Klara's bread and butter ranged attack, she channels her ki to summon a spindly ball of ice and fling it at an opponent, causing damage while staggering them. She can launch a large spindly ball if she uses both hands.[/indent][/indent] [indent][u]■ Subzero Slide[/u] [indent]A simple multi-purpose move, Klara summons ice beneath her feet to move her along the ground at high speed, leaving a raised trail of ice behind her. Best used for dodging attacks and spinning around and behind enemies, as well as combining with an attack for extra power and momentum. Out of combat, it's also a handy way of getting around.[/indent][/indent] [indent][u]■ Treacherous Floe[/u] [indent]Klara hits the ground and summons an extra-slippery patch of ice in front of her, guaranteed to trip up unaware opponents and leave an opening.[/indent][/indent] [indent][u]■ Iceberg Ahead[/u] [indent]Klara summons a thick spire of ice in front of her, blocking attacks and knocking up any enemies unfortunate enough to be standing under it. Normally immobile, Klara can choose to shove it in any direction where it will smash and shatter on impact.[/indent][/indent] [u][b]SUPER MOVES [/b][/u] [indent] [u]■ Blizzard Breath[/u] [indent]Klara calls on her draconic heritage, launching her enemy into the air and keeping them there with a high-intensity frost breath attack, similar to a dragon's flame breath but with ice.[/indent][/indent] [indent] [u]■ Caught out in the Cold[/u] [indent]Klara dodges with a Subzero Slide that gradually increases in size and hops off right before the rapidly moving ice catches her opponent and carries them off to slam into a solid object, or an Iceberg if no object is readily available.[/indent][/indent] [u][b]WEAKNESSES & LIMITS [/b][/u] Being Jötunn, Klara has a specific weakness to fire and heat based attacks, and if she is worn out and deprived of her ice-based ki attacks she will have a really hard time matching a nomad with pure fighting skill alone. Even with her powers though, she is still big and strong enough that an aggressively nimble or unpredictable enemy can outmaneuver and put her down with a bit of elbow grease. [/indent] [h3][b]OTHER[/b][/h3] [indent][indent]There's nothing actually wrong with her face, despite appearances. The hood is a beloved gift from a father figure and she thinks it looks cool on her.
