The feeling only lasted a moment, but it was enough to disorient her. When she opened her eyes, she was on board the subway again, in the exact same spot she was in before. She glanced around her to see if anyone realized she disappeared for a length of time only to pop back into existence, but no one was looking at her. Not even those standing near her paid her any mind. What the hell? She immediately chalked it up to a waking dream, but she could still feel the after-effects of the crash. It felt like it really did happen, but that can't be the case. She was here in New York again. She quickly hustled outside of the subway car as this was her stop and she still had to make it in time for work. She checked her phone and saw that not much time had passed. She wanted to call in sick, but she couldn't. Wouldn't bring herself to do such a thing. Best to go about this all as normal. Though everything about this screamed abnormal.
