[@Bartimaeus] Trust me, we had a character like that before and it resulted in a very bored writer. Unfortunately it just doesn't work out :/

Plus, it doesn't really make sense in the lore, what with Gems being [i]significantly[/i] weaker than drakken, being a generally peaceful people, all that. Plus, it doesn't make any sense for a male Gem to be at the choosing ceremony, seeing as only female gems are Reaped. 

It's funny, in the old iterations there was actually a rule that gems couldn't physically overpower drakken no matter what. Of course, there are ways around that, but a seasoned Gem assassin with drakken victims scattered about doesn't seem plausible.

I hate to rain on your parade! Im just speaking from experience. Of course, your desire for a feisty gem can still happen! You could totally make a female Gem who wants to find a way to kill her husband once she's chosen. I just can't guarantee it'll go well XD
