"My sister," Grace said with a sad smile, "Our parents died two years ago so I have become her legal guardian. She's a year older than you actually." Grace pocketed her cell phone before she put a few things away, such as Emma's file. There was no need for her file to go to lunch with them. "I'm guessing that Dr. Dickinson never talked to you as a person, he always talked to you like an authority figure. If you ever need to talk about something, anything, I will always listen to you." Despite her childish nature and giggly demeanor, Grace was a wonderful listener. She was also confident that she could help Emma with almost anything. There were some things that she would never fully understand but she could always try to see those issues through the eyes of a young girl like Emma.
