Update: Open once more! This time with plot ideas! Hi all! I hope to keep this short and sweet. You can call me Kay and I've been roleplaying on and off different sites over the years. I'm a college student so, at times, I will be swamped with [s]procrastinated[/s] work. Never fear, I will always return! Now, a little bit more about myself and some preferences for future potential partners. Meet Roleplay Kay:

I am over 18, which means I'm fine with mature content like fighting, sex, and swearing. Know that I don't want mature themes to be the majority of the roleplay, though.
Probably one of the things everyone looks for first: My favorite types of gender pairings are FxF and MxM. I also do MxF but, honestly, it's second tier. [insert shrug emoji here]
I roleplay in third person, past tense. My replies are also usually a few paragraphs, never less than one. I always try to give a decent response with substance, not with an entire paragraph dedicated just to describing a chair in the room.
Like mentioned above, I am a college student and work a part-time job, so my life can get busy at times. Please be patient and know that I will return. If I think I'll be gone for more than a few days, I'll be sure to tell you! Also, know that sometimes I leave my browsers open so it may look like I'm online a lot.
My limits: extreme gore and violence, bathroom fluids, main characters under eighteen, master/slave pairings (and any type of roleplay that depends solely on that type of dominant x submissive dynamic), and furry/anthro characters.
I think I'd like to keep roleplays in PMs, since that seems easier to track, but it's not a deal breaker or anything!
I also prefer to make character sheets, albeit simple ones (name, age, appearance) but I'm totally down with making longer ones. I also prefer to use real-life images, because it's easier for me to conceptualize the roleplay, but I can use drawn if needed (not a fan of anime faceclaims, sorry not sorry).
This isn't as short as I'd like it to be but feel free to ask anything!
As for what I'd like in a roleplay partner:

Since I am over 18, I would very much like my partners and our characters to be over 18 as well. This doesn't necessarily mean that it's because we'll be doing naughty stuff, but it's for overall potential mature scenes and for my own personal comfort.
As long as you're not responding with a straggly paragraph that I have trouble responding to, I can work with whatever you send me. I don't want to be leading the entire roleplay and I'm open to hearing any ideas that you have!
I understand outside life is probably your first priority, but if you'll be gone for a while please give me a heads up!
Let me know your limits! I'd hate to push you to do something that you're not comfortable with or don't know a lot about.
I guess just a recap: 18+, contribute, no one-liners, be open with your ideas and limits...
Now for the goodies of this post! Since I'm just starting out I don't want to list a hundred different ideas and pairings, so I'll just list what I'm craving at the moment. Again, I'm open to different ideas, but I'd definitely accept a roleplay if it's based on one of these ideas. Anything that's crossed out, you better have a damn good idea (because I have multiple of that setting going on).

[s]Soldiers/War Theme:[/s] I think something themed on this could be really cool and go in a lot of different directions. Are our characters enemies, on the same side, stuck together, the last ones alive?
Cruise Ship: Lately this is something that seems like an interesting setting. Again, lots of different directions. Happy vacation time, strangers, maybe something goes terribly wrong?
Monsters: This is pretty open. There's the basics like vampires and werewolves, but I'm happy to go into the realm of demons and witches. Note that I don't really know a lot about fantasy-themes and may just sort of come up with what I like.
Western: Mhmm, gun slingers, no laws, sassy women. Need I say more?
[s]Percy Jackson Universe:[/s] I honestly love mythology, so we don't even have to do something Percy Jackson-esqe. I'd prefer that we have our own characters but could have the book characters as NPCs.
[s]Apocalypse/Post Apocalypse:[/s] This can entail lots of things and we can go pretty much anywhere with this. I think having side characters could make it interesting.
Plot Bunnies: So, I've had time to sit and think of some ideas that really interest me. Since these are still pretty vague, there's plenty of room for discussion and world building!
Witch Balls are glass spheres that used to be hung on homes primarily during the 17th century. Usually made with bright colors, their purpose was to entice evil spirits and catch them inside, thus protecting the inhabitants of the home. Because of folk lore and superstitions, witch balls can still be found hanging outside of homes today. It's always been known that breaking one is bad luck, but what happens when one is broken and something is released? - - - - - There is so many directions that this can go. First of all, the being trapped inside does not have to be an "evil spirit." It can be a demon, a ghost, a witch, an incubus/succubus, maybe even an innocent soul. I am fine with any. Second, I don't care if I'm the Trapped Being or the Not Trapped Being. This can be set in more modern times or set in the past. Really, this can go anywhere.

Covao do Conchos is a whirlpool off the shore of Portugal. No one really knows how it has formed or why or, more importantly, where it leads to. Some think it leads to nothingness and sure death if entered, but some have speculated that it leads to another dimension. Well, there's only one way to find out. - - - - - Again, lots of room. I was thinking we'd each just have one character or our main characters and then NPC group members that are tagging along. Obviously, our characters won't die when they jump in. One idea of where the whirlpool leads to is some prehistoric, dinosaur time. I'm not a huge fantasy person, but we can throw in some magical medieval place or something. I would like our characters to be in some science/research field and not random daredevils.

Our world is an incredible place for one simple reason: people have superpowers. With this discovery, heroes and villains rose in their ranks and their names became known across the world. People stared in awe at their abilities wondering when they'd witness the next super battle. On the sidelines, though, the American government was busy at work. Government Produced 732, or GP-732, was a man-made virus derived from the cells of recently deceased humans. See, the government scientists were interested in creating half-alive, half-dead, easily-manipulable soldiers. This was before the virus mutated, got out of control, and escaped the supposedly sealed labs. The virus turned people into the walking dead. Barely conscious, blood and meat-thirsty monsters that were just shells of their former beings. With delayed news of the virus, people kept their sick family members around for too long, causing the virus to rapidly spread across the world. The superheroes and villains formed a truce and used their powers and resources to try and slow down the spread of the virus while the scientists worked on a cure. However, they too soon fell to the virus and the outcome couldn't be worse. - - - - - I've had this idea in my head for a long time, I even had some ideas planned out for it. This isn't all there is to the plot, but I don't want to reveal all my cards right now. As for out characters, they'd obviously be survivors. Whether they, too, have powers or not is up for discussion. They could be loners, in a group/safe zone, ect.
Hopefully this wasn't too long. Please PM me if anything catches your eye and I hope to hear from some of you soon! Until then...
