Name: Doku Gender: Woman Appearance: Standing at a slightly smaller stature of 3'8, Doku has short black hair, very sharp ears, and brown eyes. Her skin is Light Green, similar to Hemlock in shade. Her voice can change tone massively, from sickly sweet to venomous. She is average in all respects, and her physique is similar to most goblins - only difference being her legs, which are slowly being developed thanks to her penchant to run away from most fights. She has no defining birthmarks or extraordinary characteristics, but her hands seem smaller than most. Personality: Doku, above all else, is a survivor. She rarely enters an encounter unless she has support, and always makes sure she has an escape route at the ready. As expected, she relies on running a majority of the time - to the point where she would run from most foes immune to poisons. She is incredibly proficient in the use of most chemicals, having been a leading scientist in the field of chemistry in her past life. As such, she prefers to rely on these poisons in combat - throwing fragile containers of toxin at an opponent only for them to explode onto the opponent with great results. She normally acts cheerful, innocent and loving, greeting other goblins and generally being a kind individual. She rarely says anything crude while acting as such, and is a far cry from the cruel and malicious individual from her past life. Should someone feel she turned over a new leaf, they would be horribly mistaken. In reality, she is more akin to the venomous viper - she acts harmless until something annoys or threatens her, which is when she bites. She is really a cynical, selfish, sadistic, and violent man in the body of a much smaller goblin, and would love nothing more than to study his toxins in peace. She carries some bad habits from her past life, the main one being her chain smoking (a large difficulty when in a world without cigarettes). She is glad that she has another chance at life, and is eager to begin her experimentation once more - with a new, younger body to assist her. Past Life History: Born in 1922, young Hans Spitzer quickly gained respect and renown as a chemist - he was also recognized for the nationalism he had for his home country of Germany. At 23, when the Nazi regime fell, Hans left the country - he knew of the horrifying result of wartime defeat on an economy. Instead, he moved to the country of Brazil, where he lived for another three years. After those three years, however, he quickly realized the lack of work he had. He had quickly moved to the country, liquidated his funds, and exchanged them for Brazilian Reals - He spent every day after that experimenting in his lab. He soon set out for a job, getting hired by the AM corporation - a group motivated to discover the ultimate panacea, but also making a large profit from the chemical warfare industry. Originally experimenting on rats, Hans quickly found that he enjoyed his chemical weapon research significantly more than his other work. Seeing the rat curl up and pass away was enjoyable - to enjoyable. Hans had always kept himself distant from his work, and refused to become infatuated with such a disturbed concept. He was a man of science, not some fool who tortured small animals for fun. With his workload from the AM corporation slowly increasing, however, he had no choice but to return to his work. Even having told himself this, he still enjoyed the process of poisoning the rats too much. Deciding to deal with the problem after he completed his jobs, he slowly increased the size of his subjects. First he used larger rats, then squirrels, and then moved on to pigs. The AM corporation provided funds for these subjects, so Hans eventually decided to go big - At the age of 33, he injected a chimpanzee with a toxin of his own invention. It died 10 minutes later. Still not pleased with the results, Hans used more and more subjects, faster and faster as he made more headway. The AM corporation eventually moved him over to the Panacea project, seeing as he was already so skilled - With a cut in funding for subjects, this sent him back to his rats. Ten years passed. The urge never left his body - he wanted to experiment more, but he resigned himself to his current project. After all, it paid far more than his prior one. He used this reasoning for 30 more years. He retired, staying in Brazil until his final days. The country became more of a home than Germany was. Hans Spitzer died at 79, a chain smoker, single, and with no family. Half his wealth and all of his worldly possessions were given to the local zoo, as Hans felt guilty whenever he passed the Chimpanzee exhibit. The other half of his wealth went to the pianist at the bar he frequented, a young man who Hans had listened to on many nights when he was alone and drunk because he was alone. He died in his sleep peacefully - too peaceful for a man as cruel as him. The next time he opened his eyes, he was no longer a 79 year old man - he was a goblin in a new world. Skill - Toxin Resistance: Thanks to her constant exposure to poisons and toxic chemicals during her past life, Doku has been born with a complete immunity to toxic materials and chemicals in her next. This includes toxins in all forms - gas, liquid, and solid. For clarification, Toxins and Poisons are chemical in nature - Radiation and disease still effects her fully, snake venom would be protected against.
