[@AdmrlStalfos19] I'm going to be speaking very subjectively here, as I'm not 100% what Satoshi thinks of your sheet. It's definitely very well-written and I like the rivalry you set up with Leopold, but there's two things about it that rub me a little differently. The first and most simple one is that I don't really see a link between the decks your characters play and the type of people they are. The closest I get is having the one struggling with self-identity playing something that negates everything, but even that's a little bit of a stretch. What's the thought process behind the decks? Why does Kirari play dinosaurs, for example? The second is... a lot more subjective and weird. I'd like Satoshi to give his own opinion on it, but to be blunt, your cast doesn't feel very... Yu-Gi-Oh? YGO is very traditionally shönen at heart, so it matches its cast to those tropes. You'll see some inclusivity, e.g. the overweight Tetsuo, some foreigners like O'Brien and so forth, but they're few and far between. You, though, have given almost your entire cast special 'quirks'. I'm personally not against characters like a crossdressing boy who identifies as male, an overweight woman who has to deal with it and a lesbian, but having all of them played super straight doesn't really seem in-line with the general over-the-top fantasy screamfest that shönen shows are known for. The characters are well-written and I, personally, wouldn't reject you for them. Let's be clear on that. I do like most of your cast, they just seem weirdly out of place in a YGO setting. Just wanted to bring it up.
