He stands at an average 5'9" and weighs in at 140 lbs though one could see the dense endurance muscles and be surprised at his physical prowess behind the baby faced New Yorker which he considers himself to be plagued by. His dark brown eyes and long hair complement his dark appearance though his innocent looks dis-abide any notion of him being a danger to anyone. On his face, a hooked nose being a dead giveaway of this Mediterranean ancestry. His skin is light olive, the appearance of his Italian-American mother being more present than with the darker complexion of his father who has ancestors from the same nation though having being immigrated to Argentina during the early 20th century like most of his countrymen.

[sub]
[sup][sub]-[/sub][/sup]✶ IN DEPTH ✶
[/sub]

[sub][sub]
personality
[/sub][/sub]
It is really a simple thing to deduce that Lorenzo is pretty shy, mostly choosing to not participate in any social gathering unless it really so happens to spark his interest. That doesn't of course means he does not try. There are times when the young man tries avidly to get out of his shell, choosing to challenge himself by any means to get ahead in life. This is of course one of the reasons for his decision of joining High School Wrestling, a sport he just so happens to be decent at. He was somewhat known by his peers as simply Lorenzo, though that was really about it. He certainly by any means no popular, social butterfly as some of his classmates are though that isn't to necessarily suggest he was a complete loser either. For it is his stoicism that stands out more than any other part of his personality whenever someone is to observe him after a while. Lorenzo enjoys physical activities than your average "book worm" despite his looks being a clear giveaway but one wouldn't be wrong to suggest he were one. Reading and researching are all things he enjoys doing, earning high marks and aspiring to become among the top of his class this new semester or high school, a first attempt at doing so. His middle school years were the laziest, mostly consisting of playing Garry's Mod and Minecraft, a game he cringes thinking about today. The young man had wasted his youth at home, wandering aimlessly into a fantasy world he himself could never truly make a reality and it was listening to his father giving him a speech one time about the time he had on the world and how he only had so much time to make the best of it that was the tipping point for this young man, destined to becoming a hero. Though it was not directed towards his video game playing, it was advice he nonetheless absorbed with the most diligence. Wisely in his eyes by heeding the advice of his father, did Lorenzo decide to invest more of his time into studying and becoming more efficient in whatever it was he had aspired to become. It was in his years that Lorenzo realized he had more brains than brawn and given his interest in computers, he decided to give up an interest in police and law and pursue a tech career which he began to enjoy ardently. During the summer of his eight grade year just before transitioning to high school was when he occupied himself with various computer subjects, most importantly programming. Lorenzo learned the fundamentals of C before picking up on Perl and HTML and although still a novice, it was a trade he picked up on quickly. So quickly that he even began to write his own programs, honing his creativity for inventing new things. Though there was still a tireless need for the young man to do something right in the world which was what drove him to want to be a police officer in the first place. He was not the most athletic, or maybe even the bravest, but he knew there was something in his life that to try to make the world a better place. His gut had told him so. Lorenzo was not a perfect person. Deep down, he is as frustrated and as lost and any other kid growing up and his case, was where he truly belonged and who he really was. If only he had superpowers and the mind of Bruce Wayne he could change the world. If only he realized what was about to happen to him.
[sub][sub]
superpowers
[/sub][/sub]

Enhanced Physiology - Though not strong enough to lift a bus, Lorenzo's physical prowess has enhanced significantly. He now possessed cat-like reflexes, can sprint almost 30mph for at least 20 seconds, and the strength of five men. With his reflexes, Lorenzo can react with significantly quicker timing and although he is not quick enough to dodge a bullet, it gives him quite a lot of advantages as he's experienced in practicing martial arts.

[sub][sub]
backstory
[/sub][/sub]
Born to an Argentine father and Italian-American mother, Lorenzo is a native to the Big Apple, being born as the eldest of his family ahead of his baby sister, Ilaria. Being brought up in Astorias, Queens and later moving to Brooklyn during preschool, Lorenzo grew up like any other city boy in this concrete jungle, scrapping around just to get by and learning essential social skills which served him better off in life. It is in his youth that this young man aspired to be a police officer and at a young age sought to anyways do the right thing. He believes this to be a trait he carried from his father, a detective working for the New York City Department. Lorenzo had very fond memories of childhood. Like most children growing up in New York, he had grown well acquainted and comfortable with his neighborhood surroundings, meeting a plethora of people in his community and well accustomed to the crowds of an ever-active city like New York. Lorenzo's best friend Marcus was one of those reasons he had such a bright nostalgic perspective of the past and later in his life, Marcus who he had met in a little bit later in his life. The young man had a trustworthy group of friends he made over the years and had retained a decent and ideal childhood of any American living in the Big Apple. He had grown quite acquainted to the hum-drum life of the city-person portrayed astonishingly a more exaggerated interesting life like in the movies. Cop movies were his favorite and though he had not been a comic book nerd, Lorenzo still cherished the movies of superheros and police officers as it had now become a goal he wanted to pursue. Lorenzo was never truly an academic student from the start, receiving mediocre grades and never truly applying himself at all in school. This is not to suggest that he had a lack of an attention span, or had any small mental and intellectual deficiencies. In fact quite the opposite, the boy had a brain that most honors students had though wanting to reach his potential was something that had slipped his mind. Being quite frustrated with the mechanisms of which the school system operated on, Lorenzo found himself being one of few being able to see just how lucrative and flawed it was, becoming disillusioned by it all and abstaining for any notion of application from his part. It was had been until his father and mother both intervened during the seventh grade (and gave him a speech as said in the personality portion of this application) that the young man would later devote his life to the more academic leaning subjects given his affinities to peruse such subjects. Lorenzo had found an avid interest in computer programming, being able to understand and later apply principles of programming languages and acquainting himself with sever management through Windows and Linux systems, his favorite operating system being Arch Linux which he installed just recently. Sure he had done better. But deep down he could do much more than that and so did his parents. He just never knew what. High School would most certainly test his abilities. Though during the summer of 2017, a deadly epidemic proceeded to terrorize the city which would subsequently cause a small halt in the young man's aspirations in doing better for himself in life academic career. During those grueling months of paranoia among members of his own community could he do nothing but wait for a longer amount of time that he himself thought was necessary If everyone happened for a reason, then this was the time for diligence to take precedence for the young man's life and in his room during this outreach did Lorenzo further decide to take advantage of this break from his school time to teach himself. His parents though not approving of his hermit-like behavior, it was the safest they knew their son would survive this virus outbreak. Every now and again, Lorenzo would sell a pitch to his worried parents and convincing him to go outside every now and again. It was the usual, going out with his friends and hanging around what was left of what they thought was going to be a post-apocalyptic city at one point. Though they were safe in the comforts of a quarantine zone, his friend, Alex, who Marcus and Lorenzo had known since they were in fifth grade, decided a look around outside of the area from a 'flaw' he found around the parameter. To make a unnecessarily long story short, a sophomoric decision was made while exiting the quarantine zone where the three boys made contact with a sick homeless man who had been ill with the virus. Warning the boys to stay away from him after an attempt the boys tried to make by giving him money, he sneezed in their direction. An unintentional and minuscule infliction which would affect the fates of the boys who had make such a rash decision. They had been contaminated without even knowing. It had been only amount of time before the virus truly took hold of him and that very night he had slept was the worst he had ever experienced. His head ached tremendously, the pain being so severe he could not even scream and cried before soon after passing out into a deep twelve hour sleep in which he awoke antagonizing tired and distressed though his physical pain finally alleviated. He felt newer, something about him had changed during that ensuing night. It was as if he had died and although he had never truly felt what it was like to experience death, it had been something he felt like he did. It had all confused him a great deal though what confused him even more was that his flu was completely gone, in just a matter of hours he had turned from being disgustingly sick to feeling quite healthy despite the fatigue though it was only a matter of time before that also dissipated. Needless to say that his friend Alex would succumb to the virus, dying within only a few hours and thus nearly compromising. It was miracle that no one else was affected by the virus but a painful turmoil which washed over his emotions like nothing he not felt since the death of his beloved grandfather, a true dreadful mourn. A friend he had known for years had been dead because of their own negligence, a decision they could have overturned. It had also been a miracle that Marcus wouldn't be affected or had caught the virus at all and that Lorenzo had been one of the only survivors. For the time being, he kept his mouth shut. It seemed it parents did as well, assuming they also knew what had been the cause of the virus afflicting one of their own community members. It took a few more months before the city was declared safe from the virus as schools then reopened and a new opportunity which presented itself though with one friend less. Not how he wanted to spend his new year. It had seemed everything had managed to go back to normal. Except for him.
